Would give them zero stars if I could. Woman working the desk was very condescending and insensitive to my family when we came in with concerns about our dying dog.

Took my 6 year old dog to get a check up, they suggested a 6 month proHeart medication (and I accepted) and gave her the 12 month shot. My dog ended up with a severe allergic reaction which I understand can happen and that’s not their fault. However, when I called to let them know to remove the next 6 month shot the staff member told me they had given her the 12 month and that I need to pay for the 12 months. I’ll be switching her over to another vet. Do not give your pets ProHeart vaccine! Check to see the possible side effects online- you can find the study done for this medication.

Banfield and their team have been very compassionate and flexible with our frenchie puppy. We have their wellness plan that includes his neutering and it has defiantly helped us with all his vaccines and visits we make. Thank you doctors, vet techs, and front desk staffing for being very inviting and putting my concerns at ease. I appreciate all the work you do for us!

We’ve been bringing our family dog here ever since we got him 6+ years ago. The staff has always been so kind and thorough and they always take their time to answer your questions. The ladies in the front always have the friendliest demeanor and the doctors here always explain clearly what is going on and what they did. Thank you!

Took my dog here for a shot in her joints for arthritis and her med refill and they returned her to me with a black eye that she didn't have upon taking her there. This banfeild has no answers how my dog got a black eye. All they can say is that they don't know. DO Not take your animals here.

Worst service ever. Limited hours and open only three days. Some people care about their pets not only on the days they are open. Wouldn't take my dog here again or any banfield. You call no one picks up ever. They call you , we try to call back no answer when it's supposed to be an urgent matter like really wtf. Incompetent humans beings like this is why the country is going to shit. Lower the min wage until people actually get their heads out their a-hole

Took my 10 year old dog there today for a flu shot. In addition, they addressed a few other concerns. The doctor was so thorough. She took her time and explained all her decisions with me. The young ladies at check in were as nice as could be. I’m switching my dog to this practice.

The staff and doctors are very nice people. But they never have available appointments. My dog is at the end and I just want to know if she is suffering so I can decide if it is time to put her down. can't get her in for over two weeks. when i ask what am i supposed to do, they suggested calling another vet (blue pearl). I've been coming here for over 8 years. She is comfortable here and knows the doctors so i don't want to bring her to another vet. I guess i will have to because they are too busy now

I went to Banfield pet hospital at 8287 West Golf Road, Niles, IL. this past Monday 6/20/2022 for a scheduled appointment at 12:00pm. It was not until 2:30pm that I was called into the office and she had not been seen by anyone in that time. By then my dog was extremely anxious and I really have no idea where she was put in that 2.5 hours that she was waiting to see the vet. I don't understand what the point of an appointment is if it takes over two hours to see the animal. I would have much rather had my dog in my care until the vet was available rather than having her caged. She came back to me very stressed out and the doctor recommended anxiety medication even though she has never had any previous issues in the past nor would I consider her an anxious dog. My dog was in for routine check up to update her health insurance coverage and after talking with the vet it was stated that she had no issues and other than possible anxiety (Which was most likely due to her being caged in an unfamiliar place for over two hours). However when I got my appointment summary the doctor had listed two findings that were outside of normal range which included and eyelid issue and an ear flap issue. My dog had no issues coming in with either her ears or eyes and the recommendation was to get further treatment. If this was really an issue why was it not discussed when I was in the office in front of the vet so we I would at least know what they saw. Now this summary is stating issues that I've never seen my dog have and requiring further treatment that was not mentioned but later written. Overall I would NEVER bring my pet here ever again, Extremely unprofessional and caused so much trauma to my dog.
