I'm autistic and have become more and more homebound as the years have passed but I asked to come here for mother's day. The store is a crafty person's theme park. It's filled to the brim with anything and everything you could dream of. My budget was miniscule but I was able to afford a rare treat of craft supplies. The staff is kind and patient. I'm going to make a bigger effort to come out because it's a treasure , thank you The Waste Shed!”

“Rigid Heddle weaving classes and equipment offered. Wonderful Store - great selection of high-end and affordable yarns. Just finished a Rigid Heddle class with Georg. She is an art teacher who makes the Rigid Heddle a piece of equipment you must try! She enjoys experimentations in color and technique. I learned the "official" techniques, but was encouraged to try variations. Georg always answers question thoughtfully - I really understand and want to weave it all! Thank you.”
“When our civilization is gone and future generations excavate our archeological remains they will find...Bob Ross toaster and panini maker? They will ponder, who was this individual and why did they embellish their bread with his likeness? This and other similar items are available at Hobby Lobby. I ventured in HL today in search of a multi-generational craft. I settled on painting metal containers that we can fill with candy. I decided against painting on glass because, well, breakable. I think the painting/candy eating activity will be just fine. I found all that I needed here, along with other things I don't (see toaster, above) and most of it on sale (sometimes up to 70 percent off). Surprisingly, most of the Easter items were already cleared away for patriotic red white and blue items (Memorial Day? Flag Day? Fourth of July ?).”
“I love Blick Art Materials! It is like going into a candy store for me. As an art educator I ordered the school supplies for the students from Blick's for many years. I am also a practicing artist and I have always been so impressed by the knowledgeable and friendly staff. They really know their products and will readily help navigate the store to find the materials and mediums I'm looking for. They always have good sales. “I cannot write about the entire store experience as my friend and I were there specifically for yarn shopping. Unless I am missing something at other named craft stores when it comes to finding different yarn sizes, this store leaves no doubt as each section has a useful large number indicating the size above the bins. I do not always have my reading glasses handy so picking up various bundles to narrow down where I'm at is not fun. It's awesome to just look above and know if I'm in the write section or not. Thank you.”
