One of their trucks and many trucks from other trucking companies are parking in a right turn lane in Pearl River, Louisiana. Two NO PARKING signs are posted along this right turn lane. Right turn lanes are for the FLOW of traffic NOT for parking. Other truckers that aren't parking in this right turn lane need to use this lane to keep traffic flow in the roadway corridor moving smoothly. They use this right turn lane to access a warehouse property. Uncongested right turn lanes keep traffic moving smoothly. That is their intention. Truck stops are for parking and resting. Two Pearl River police officers told me that they had given out many citations in the past to truckers illegally parking in this right turn lane, but they were defiant and they kept parking there. I called City Hall today, because the pavement is damaged in multiple areas in this right turn lane. They are going to look at the damage. The rest of the roadway corridor in this area looks fine
