We enjoyed our stay rooms very clean and beds are comfortable. Staff friendly.will stay there again when in that area.

We live locally, and wanted a swim mini vacation. We Loved it. Have to admit the service was my favorite. Pool was perfect temp and very clean.I plan on having a lot more mini Vacations here.Great Service goes a long way!

We took a chance on this place as we were driving through. It was a great choice. It’s very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the water pressure was glorious. Staff were really nice. You should know that there isn’t an elevator, so book on the first floor if that’s an issue. There’s a cute looking coffee shop nearby (Flo’s Coffee) that was closed for Thanksgiving, so we didn’t have a chance to try it, but I think it’s another mark in favor of this hotel.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay.Room was clean and well stocked with usual items. Our only concern was that the outside flood light was directed at our window...Rm 121...room darkening curtains did not make much difference in that moment. Was "morning" all night long. Check in day, staff seemed frazzled...possibly short staffed but still pleasant and respectful. Check out staff seemed happy and organized. Would stay again.Rooms: Enjoyed the jacuzzi tub. New to me experience.

Stayed here this past weekend had never heard of the hotel before. A lot of these two star hotels kind of look alike so I just went by the reviews and for me cleanliness is really important. Not only was this one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in the staff was wonderful. My friend and I had a great time just hanging out and talking with Mark the general manager of the hotel after we got settled in. They have a little bar located next to the check-in desk so first they check you in and then they fix you a drink if you want one. The beds were super comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the shower had great pressure. The bathroom in the lobby of the hotel was spotless and I mentioned it to the general manager and he said well it's not as clean as I'd like it to be, and I laughed. I would definitely stay there again if I was passing through town. Sometimes some of these two star hotels will surprise you but you really have to do your research first.

We enjoy staying here when we visit family nearby. The hotel has always been clean, the staff is always helpful and friendly, and they always serve up a great breakfast selection. We’re thankful to have such a nice place to stay.

My buddy and I were on a road trip looking for a place to crash so we came to the cobblestone hotel. We weren't familiar with the name and I think it was only a two-star hotel so we were little hesitant but we gave it a shot and boy are we glad we did. Do not let the two stars fool you! The place was super clean, the rooms were also very nice, spacious and also very clean. Jim, the guy that ran the front desk, was awesome and we came down to the bar after we got settled in to have a couple drinks and had a great conversation with him as it turns out he grew up not too far from us in the western suburbs of Chicago so we had a fun time talking about all our old stomping grounds. Breakfast in the morning was fairly typical hotel breakfast, nothing amazing but a good way to start the morning. Overall I would stay here again without a second of hesitation as we had a great stay. Thanks Jim!Rooms: Great size and very clean

Was in town with family for a funeral and management was flexible with our request for an early check-in. The room was clean and met all of our needs for a short stay. Breakfast is nothing fancy, but sufficient. This hotel does not have an elevator (only two floors), so be prepared to use the stairs if on the second floor. Overall it's a good place to stay when in town.

Why 5 stars? (1) Everything you'd expect and hope for was there. All good. (2) I lost a mouth retainer either on the way or at the hotel. During my stay I searched up and down, and asked the staff to keep an eye out. A couple hours after I had checked out, and asked to be called if it was found, I went back and luckily got the manager David who knew of my dilemma. So he took me to the room for a 3rd or 4th pass. Then we went to my rental car where he engaged just as committedly. He politely asked if I was ok w/ his help, and then used his cell phone lite to look where I had already looked, felt, and told him the retainer was not. But he could see it under the seat and stuck into a gap in the floor paneling. Pretty incredible. Very incredible. Forever grateful. Above and beyond the call.

I've stayed here many times over the years and it is such a nice facility. Clean, comfortable, quiet and Marc the manager is super friendly and attentive. Always nice to chat with him. The rooms are nicer than at many of the big city chains. Would 100% recommend staying here.

Went to wedding and reception in Newton, IL. Stayed at the Cobblestone there. Had never been to or heard of Cobblestone. Was very pleasantly surprised and impressed. Clean rooms and a very nice free breakfast bar. Also had a pool and hot tub. Reasonable price and was very happy with our stay there. Would recommend, based on our experience.
