“Hey y’all, you need to remember where this place is, almost everyone in Rockford passes it several times a month if not several times a week.
You need to hit the brakes, pull in the parking lot, walk inside order a sandwich with side orders or awesome meat packages to go.

“I have been shopping at Aldi for many years and for the most part have been very satisfied! But IAM not happy only having 1 person checking out customers, mostly self checkout. Plus what is the deal with phone ringing constantly ? Anyone know?”
“Went on recommendations from friends. The fellow that rang me up was quick and courteous. They have a good selection of fresh produce, a wide assortment of teas, lots of noodles and sauces, and plenty of ramen to keep someone like me happy. I ended up with 3 ramen multi-packs, some matcha green tea, and some moringa coffee. I can’t wait until I go again to see things I missed this time.”

“The best part about woodman's is the vast variety of product they provide. At times it feels like inter-dimensional shopping, I swear some of the stuff on their shelves look like fake products you'd see on a 90s sitcom, but it's all real I promise. They have good deals on certain products as well, and the best part, cherry on the sundae, they're open 24/7.”

“Nice old school butcher shop feel. The meat all looked great, and I'm definitely going to go back for some steaks! This time I got a 10 lb rump roast that they cut for me right then and there. Easy going staff, family owned atmosphere.”

“Construction is done, and they are adding some new ideas/services.. ie popcorn station and rotisserie station.. some other services are slicing is free. The staff seems fairly young, but a few go above, what others do!”
“So many weird sodas here! I got a Habanero one and a coffee cake one. They have a ton of snacks from around the world. I was surprised to find my favorite Banana Kick Korean snack. They have some Japanese KitKats as well.”

The aisles are narrow but worth the squeeze down them, they are loaded with so many choices. Everything from woks to steamers, to sauces, to noodles, to coconut milk, specialty teas and snacks! “I am always satisfied when I shop at Valli's. I find the produce good and generally the prices are reasonable. I also like their meat products. Valli's is my favorite store to shop at in Rockford. Service is good and friendly. It's pleasurable to shop there. The ambience is good.”
“I use to come in this store all the time when it was a clothing store.The first time I walked in there I was like OMG how different it looks.It was super clean,neat,organized and everything.It's a big store and they had everything and everything was so organized it was easy to find what I was looking for.The cashier was so nice to me..she helped me find everything I wanted cause I was kind of in a rush and the store is so huge...but yes she helped.I will always shop there when I need something because they have it All.And nice owners and workers there.”

Nice to have this convenient store in the neighborhood. The owners are very friendly guys, the prices are relatively reasonable and they have beer, liquor, wine, ice, smokes, juice/soft drinks, snacks and basic staples - basically just what you might need in a pinch. And, they're open until 10pm, which is two hours later than any other stores of this type in the area.”
“I realized last minute I didn't have anything to brine my turkey so had to go out try to find ingredients & stores were closing??♀️so relieved to find Schnucks still opened & the recipe for brine on box of kosher salt. Saved my Christmas dinner, yeah ?”

“Nice small shop with breads, pies, and other baked goods. Lots of jams, pickles, and other preserved goods. For a farm market, they are pretty light on fresh produce. There were apples. Maybe it's just the time of year (late Nov)?”
“The first time I was in a Woodman's I was mind-blown at how massive they are ! To those outside of the midwest I wonder what your grocery store equivalent is ? I've never been in a Wegman's but I imagine it is something on that scale. Costco is large too but in a different way.Not sure what to add about this Woodman's but I am always in awwww of how much there is here ! Hope the pic tour encourages you to find and share your surprises in here too !”
“Muhammad has always been professional and kind to me. When I first came to Rockford, and went to Amana, he greeted me with respect. He greets "Salom". I greet "Shalom". Both the seed of Abraham, by different mothers. I eat 90% organic, kosher and halal. I have found good quality halal meat at Amana's. If you are a contientious eater of halal foods, Amanna is the place to go.”

“Went to get my oil changed. Sat in line for close to a hour. 3 bays open and full. The price is right. I had to leave as I was on lunch for work! Did not get my oil changed. I will say it seemed like they could be short staffed. I will give it another try as I am a very frequent visitor at the grocery stores”
“The store was really filled! Had everything I needed! Was clean! I was looking for something. I asked a gentleman that's been working there since the day they opened. And he wouldn't acknowledge me. The people he was talking to was talking with there kids jumping in and out of boxes and I just needed help finding ice cream cones. I just don't think that' not good customer service. The same night. When I checked out. I didn't want or needed a bag. The cashier told me I had to pay and can't refund me.”
“I drive 25+ miles to shop twice a month. Great selection of products, fresh fruits and vegetables, plus pet, sporting, household goods.
PLEASE REPLACE YOUR CARTS!!! Especially small ones are very "trying".”

“Love how often items are promptly replenished. Have never had spoilage with anything. Fresh fruits & veggies is what I love. Managers are always helpful, especially brunette woman and blonde man that always seem to be there. This location has recently been redesigned but can still find everything I need, especially with help from kind blond hair male mgr”
