Walmart Pharmacy in New Lenox is my only place outside of the VA, to get my prescriptions filled. The staff and Pharmacists are the best. My favorite is Amanda. She's been my pharmacist for the last few years. Being a Veteran, at times the VA can't see me immediately, so when I need medical care or an outside pharmacy, even though they tell me it's covered, it's always a mess trying to get prescriptions filled because of all the red tape and too many people at the VA not doing their jobs to follow through to make sure I'm getting my meds. Amanda always steps up and goes the extra mile for me to make sure it gets done. I can't thank her enough for her professionalism, her knowledge of medications, and her caring attitude. She is truly, the best pharmacist I've ever had!!

Professional, caring pharmacists. Talked me into getting my prescriptions here rather than Meijer. Good call - got mine for no cost.

I was lied to twice by the pharmacy staff. I called just as they opened yesterday morning. The actual Pharmacist picked up and told me with an attitude that she wasn't open yet and that she needed to call my doctor to verify the prescription but they did have it in stack I called back as I explained to her I would 2 hours later an hour or 2 and I asked do you have my medication filled she then replied we do not even have it in stack which was contradicting to her original statement then I called my doctor back and unfortunately had to transfer it to a another pharmacy this pharmacy told me that they did have it in stock over the phone which technically they're not supposed to do by law however I was very grateful that they did then I called back to see if it was in today the day after I originally requested my medication and Joliet the pharmacy that I transferred it to did not have it from my doctor yet however it was in stack so I she told me that it was on hold and the computer I called back New Lenox and you lennick said that they did not have the prescription anymore which is a blatant lie that was the 2nd time I was lied to because the pharmacist looked it up in the computer at the other pharmacy and told me that it was still on hold in New Lenox when I called she had told me she did not have the prescription anymore when I had already checked and knew for sure that it was still in the system so this is not one time but 2 times I was lying keeping me from my prescribe medication which I have filled at that exact location before in the past I am missing out on life situations the is dire very important that I am I my medication in order to sustain my success I will be filing a lawsuit in regards to this situation because it is totally not right and very unprofessional

I was there on a Saturday to pick up my medications. The technician was helping another customer out in the isle and for several minutes the pharmacist hung up a couple finished prescriptions and another person with a white coat (maybe a pharmacy student) was back there too. Neither of them acknowledged me or let me know that someone would be right with me. Instead I waited for the technician to come back. When she came back, the lady she was helping also had prescriptions to pick up (like 7 or 8 of them). So I stood waiting even longer. It was a little over 10 minutes I waited until the technician was able to ring me up. I have worked in pharmacy for 12 years and I have never been so blown away by such bad service. The pharmacist must have thought she was too good to come up and help her customers. She shouldn't be precepting a pharmacy student if she is teaching them how to be terrible at customer service. For financial reasons my medications were cheaper if I came here but I think it's worth it to pay more somewhere else and get someone to at least a acknowledge that they see me. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Extremely rude pharmacist. She was insulting and did not know about medication pertaining to condition.

have to take a moment to graciously compliment help I received in the Pharmacy on 9/22. A technician "Emily" served me, and was outstanding. One of my prescriptions had not been approved for refill yet (a day late I might add). She offered and took the time to call my Doctor right there, had to wait on the call longer than any expectation, and was successful at getting it approved for me on the spot. This was out of the ordinary and beyond my expectations. All the while she was filled with brightness, smiles, courtesy, and obviously a genuine concern on my behalf. This was deserving of recognition of "Emily" going beyond the call of duty, and an example of her superb character. THANK YOU "Emily"!

Waiting for them to open. It's past the opening time! Pharmacists can't be bothered to show up on time!
