This was my go-to store until a couple of months ago. Here's a quick synopsis. - Redeemed points for Lowe's Gift Cards - Bought several boxes of flooring - Returned unused boxes - Customer Service says looks good, we sent the refund back to your card - I said, what card? - The card you used to pay for the flooring - I don't have that card. You took it at the time of purchase. I assume you threw it out, it was a gift card. - Oh, sh*t. They called a manager over, who confirmed that the funds were now on the gift cards. At this point I assumed they would issue store credit instead, and everything would be settled. No. They aren't allowed to do that, the manager said. I said why not? It has to go through accounting (or something like that). They can't approve something like that. At this point it sounded to me like they were stonewalling to CYA, but I had a migraine and wasn't ready for this fight. I was just hoping for an easy refund. So the manager comes back with a list of steps that *I* have to do, the following Monday, to try to get my money back. I said why am I doing the legwork for your mistake? She said because they won't talk to her, they need to talk to me. I tried calling on Monday - they had no trace of the refund. No trace of the card numbers to which the money was supposed to go to. I called the assistant manager back and explained that they had nothing, and she said she would pursue it with her store manager. Additionally, I called corporate 2x, both times requiring over 30 minutes on the phone. Nothing. No one was ever able to help, find the money, or otherwise rectify the situation. The Assistant Manager simply stopped answering my emails. So, I won't ever be back, which is genuinely a net loss to Lowe's. I spend easily $4-5k a year there, and they absolutely refused to refund $152.48. Very short sighted, but I'm glad they exposed their fraudulence on a relatively small amount. I would caution anyone currently patronizing this or any Lowe's store to avoid relying on their good faith. They have none.

I had 2 orders with Lowes in New Lenox. First one never arrived and some how it was cancelled by the store by mistake. No apology or solution was offered. This cost me several hours of lost work and paying of workers who didn't have materials. I made another order for a basement I'm redoing and again the delivery was messed up. Impossible to speak with management no one calls you back or offers any solutions or apologies. Another date where their incompetence cost me valuable time and money. I will be using Home Depot for any future jobs. You would think that a big corporation would do something about some obvious issues. This store has a 1.7 overall rating!

This is a very nice Lowes. It's in a nicer part of Chicago land. They keep the hoodies out that are in the city.

I drove to the New Lenox location as they had the option of lighting I wanted in stock. Upon entering the store every associate I walked passed smiled and said “hello” which was a pleasant change of pace from other stores. The lighting was not in the correct spot on the shelf so Mark and Gale both assisted with bringing over the ladders. You know when you go somewhere and the associates moan and groan in front of customers because something is not in the right spot and now the associate has to actually do work? Almost as if it was the customers fault that items were incorrectly placed. Well that was not the case. Gale and Mark were professional and wonderful! Both were very pleasant and made the shopping experience on New Year’s Eve enjoyable. Keep it up New Lenox Lowes!

Under staffed. Waited over 30 minutes to find someone to tend to the saw. Then they couldn't see what I needed. They wasted so much of my time.

Worst customer experience ever. I called three times and waited on hold for 30 mins each time just to have my call dropped every time. All I wanted to do was speak to someone in the order pickup department about my order. I guess that’s too much to ask these days. I would rather order the product literally anywhere else because given the time I waited I hold I could just build it myself next time.

Placed an order online was told order would be delivered to the store tracked my package through their website and it said it arrivwed at shipping partner in mokena at 02:22 and departed at 02:36 and still. No order . Talked.to.storw they said that order is probably sitting in back of store in warehouse and not checked in. Should not promise delivery on a certain day and not stay true to what the promised delvery day is. Probably wont see it till next week.
