Full disclosure... I'm editing a previous review from 7 years ago, from a 1-star, to a 5-star review. The change in ownership has resulted in an incredible turn-around for Whitmore Ace Hardware. This is exactly the type of customer experience I wish to have. Employees are professional, polite, and are genuinely committed to helping you find what you are looking for. I proudly avoid big box stores to support our local businesses. Thank you for your dedication to keeping America great.

The guy that repairs screens at this location is the G.O.A.T. Mokena and Frankfort locations could not fix my problem, 5 star employee here.

Friendly, polite, knowledgeable and helpful staff from the time you walking until you checkout and leave the store. I find this to be the case in New Lenox, Manhattan and Mokena.

The Ace Hardware in new Lenox is amazing. I highly recommend if you need any sort of key for your vehicle or your house or whatever the situation may be ask for for James. I was completely impressed with his professionalism and customer service. Your patience and empathy in dealing with that frustrated customer was outstanding! 5 stars !

Very friendly and helpful staff!! Store is clean and well organized. I personally went in for a magnetic stud finder. Was able to quickly find it and check out. Overall very positive experience.

Remember when you walked in the door of an Ace and someone always asked if you wanted help. Well they don't do that anymore.

They had exactly what I was looking for, and at the checkout, the cashier noticed my submarine hat and asked if I was in the military. When I told her I had been she gave me a military discount. Very nice :)

I can’t believe people give this business 5 stars. They are not even open for their posted hours. They have a sign on the door that says they are open until 8pm, but today they were closed before 7pm.
