I was just passing through New Baden. I stopped at CC Food Mart for a snack and an energy drink. They have a large selection of items. The staff was super friendly and we chatted for a while. Also, they have the cleanest bathrooms in the state of Illinois!

I used to work here for about 2 yrs so I can tell you certain things that are all very true and factual. I actaully left voluntarily about 3 months ago, so I'm not disgruntled lol. However I just heard that a friend of mine got sick after drinking a Ski from there so I thought maybe now would be a good time to reveal what I know. They hardly ever clean the fountain soda heads so there was always a slimy type of mold growing in them. Also there used to be a black mold growing up inside of the ice dispenser and just inside the cooler doors around the seals, they wipe it off but we all know you can not just wipe away black mold. The small bags of ice you buy there are taken out in the same cart that the garbage is taken out in....so the bag of ice in your freezer may actually have someone's chewing tobaccoo spit on it. Be careful folks! Any of these could make you or your children very sick! Shop here or not I truly don't care just maybe get a bottled soda and get ice somewhere else!

Was not happy when I went in . They were so rude to each other . Iv never met so many rude people in my life . There credit card machine is always down . Always declines my card when I know there's money on it . Called the bank and said it's on Shells end not mine . I do not suggest this store at all . I'm more of a fan of Casey's myself but I had to get gas leaving town .

The real reason I come here is for Ski slushies. It's not easy to find a Ski slushy. And, I come here because the Casey's down the street charges much more for a slushy, and they only have plastic cups, making the slushy melt faster. Otherwise, it's a decent gas station. The restroom has almost always been clean. And the clerks always seem nice. And the Ski slushies keep bringing me back here.

I love this gas station! I spend money daily in this location! The only issue I have is that I would love to see smaller size ice cream treats, is that possible?

Over priced fuel. The dirtest restroom I've been in in a while. They were out of paper towels. Simply just don't come here if you can avoid it.
