Horrible experience. Thousands of dollars worth of items were damaged or destroyed. Customer service has been impossible to reach and refuses to compensate me for the damages.Update: Zip has still not responded to me. Even though I've contacted three different people at the company about my claim.

Zips moving has caused me $2,700 in damages and counting. See the invoices and broken items attached. If you are considering going with the company, I would highly recommend you go with anyone else. You have options and in hindsight after the damage and stress they caused, I would have paid double to use literally anyone else.The moving van broke down and they made us jump start it with our two children (both under 3) and two pets in the car. They completely destroyed our brand new floors because the movers were slamming furniture down. They refused to let us put on furniture pads likely because they were rushed due to the delay after the van broke down. They broke my daughter's Nanit stand ($200) and a $700 Restoration Hardware mirror. They wouldn't unpack my daughter's bed despite repeated requests and she ended up sleeping on the basement floor that night. When I reached out trying to resolve the issue, they offered me $50. I'm shocked that they are still in business.I've never experienced any company in any industry act so unprofessionally. Significantly worse than child birth.

Please DO NOT hire them.They are unprofessional and unethical and THEIVES. They changed the time twice for moving and sent a guy who was hungover, hostile, and rude.He damaged my stuff, stole my jewelry from my beg in the closed.He damaged and left stuff in the driveway.I have pictures to prove it. When I called the office to inform them that the guy is very rude and unprofessional, they charged my credit card for $600, which I did not authorize.They did not return the deposit nor they sent anyone else to complete the job.It is so hard to get anyone on the phone to get help. They are THEIVES, THUGS, and STOLE staff, DAMAGE STAFF, and STOLE your credit card number for unauthorize charges.Do yourself a favor and get someone else.

Zip Moving gave an accurate and fair estimate. The crew handled everything with care and disassembled and reassembled necessary items. They were communicative before and during the move. All tvs and appliances were safely moved with no damage. The crew was very polite and cordial.

I am utterly disappointed and frustrated with the abysmal service I received from ZIP Moving and Storage. My recent encounter with them has been nothing short of a nightmare, as they not only fraudulently canceled my moving service but also had the audacity to charge me a ridiculous cancellation fee, despite the fact that I never requested any cancellation.From the outset, I had high hopes for a smooth moving process, having read some positive reviews about ZIP Moving and Storage. However, my experience was anything but positive. I had booked their services well in advance, provided all necessary details, and even made the required payment promptly.On the day of my move, the movers were annoyed at a discrepancy between a "table" vs "desk" as it appeared on their list. This should have been my wake up call. I told him not to worry about the table and that I would reach out to the representative that I was working with about it. I left the movers in the garage to work while I proceeded into the house to make the call. When I came back out to the garage to check on them, I was shocked to see that they had left and all my stuff was left in the driveway. I immediately reached out to their customer service, only to be met with incompetence and disinterest. I was finally informed that my service had been canceled due to "hostile work environment." What a convenient excuse!The truth of the matter is, I had never initiated any cancellation request, and there was no valid reason for them to cancel my move without notifying me in advance. It seemed evident that the movers were not happy to be there that day and were looking for ANY reason to not work. The frustration didn't end there. Despite being the victim of their deceitful actions, I received an invoice for a so-called "cancellation fee." Can you believe the audacity? Charging me for a service they never provided and an event I never initiated is the epitome of fraud and deception.When I tried to dispute the charge, ZIP Moving and Storage's customer service proved to be woefully inadequate yet again. They displayed a lack of empathy, refused to acknowledge their mistake, and instead insisted that I was at fault for the cancellation. It was an infuriating display of unprofessionalism and blatant dishonesty.This experience has left me emotionally drained and out-of-pocket for both the moving service I needed and the unjust cancellation fee. I wouldn't wish this ordeal on my worst enemy. ZIP Moving and Storage's deceptive practices and complete lack of accountability are appalling and unacceptable.In conclusion, I strongly urge anyone considering using ZIP Moving and Storage to steer clear of their services. Their fraudulent practices and disregard for their customers' well-being are evident in my unfortunate experience. Save yourself the headache, stress, and money, and find a reputable moving company that values honesty and professionalism.I sincerely hope that this review serves as a warning to others, and that ZIP Moving and Storage is held accountable for their unscrupulous behavior.

Please DO NOT HIRE THEM! They are THIEVES, THUGS, AND FRAUD. They are unprofessional, unreliable, and steal. They changed the time of move three times and when they showed up they were high and aggressive and hostile toward me. They broke my stuff, stole my jewelry in the closet and left the stuff in the driveway, and took off. Later the company changed the $600 unauthorized charges to my credit card, which was not on file.Do yourself a favor and DO NOT HiRE THEM. I am a senior citizen, and I truly believed they are horrible to treat the elderly with respect and steal from them because they think they cannot do anything to them. Help your elderly and avoid this company at all costs.

Things went well at first! They were super organized and had a good method for taking inventory and they had strong communication along the way. They actually arrived on time and were professional until they over charged for time they were working and left me with a now broken expensive tv. They have been quiet ever since despite saying they would call me. They just shove you to some third party insurance company that they claim is a fair third party but who just asks you for paperwork that was not given to you. In the end while I thought this would be the best moving company I have worked with and in many ways they were it now all seems like a scam since they did not do what they said they would and overcharged me. Don't be fooled. Avoid. This company is much more focused on marketing puff than true customer service excellence. What a let down.

Scammed out of $3,717 dollars!After paying my deposit and initial installment totalling $3,717.53, Zip "SCHEDULED" my pickup on 6/27 between 12-3pm. On 6/27, I reached out to their moving coordinator at approx 1:30pm for an ETA on the movers. She confirmed via email "the movers are on the way, don't worry they will arrive within the ETA window" (12-3pm). At 2:45pm, I received a call from the driver of an unknown moving company (named something USA) calling to advise he was NOT going to arrive because the previous customer didn't pay and the movers were not going to unload their goods. As a customer, that should not be MY problem. Zip received my money and did not provide the service promised on 6/27.As a result of their failure to perform, I had to pay unnecessary hotel expenses because ZIP was contracted to pick up my belongings on 6/27. Therefore, I needed to reserve a hotel on that day in order to sleep on a bed. They failed to arrive and did not offer any reimbursement.The following day 6/28, 3 men arrived to my home in a U-Haul truck and plain clothing. No uniforms, no logos, no truck ads. I had no way of knowing who these men were and I was NEVER informed by ZIP about SUB-CONTRACTING with other moving companies. The driver knew nothing about WHERE or IF my items would be stored or WHEN I would receive my items. He had NO information.Zip's website is deceitful because it displays employees wearing company shirts with logos and company trucks with Zip advertisement. Their mission also states "Zip Moving & Storage provides professional movers at your disposal... for every move. Our fleet consists of trucks specially equipped for relocation".This is false advertisement because a U-Haul truck is clearly NOT part of THEIR fleet.The male driver walked through my home and then began demanding more money just by LOOKING at my items. Again, I've never had any interaction with this man and I did not know anything about his affiliation with ZIP. When I explained to him that my contract was with Zip, the man became very aggressive and began talking extremely loud in another language while standing in my garage. This was incredibly unprofessional and intimidating! Zip initially explained the price COULD change based on total WEIGHT, so why did the driver attempt to charge more money BEFORE weighing my items??I felt unsafe as a single woman being addressed in this aggressive manner by 3 unknown men in a U-Haul truck and street attire DEMANDING more money. Each time I called Zip, the response was once again "we'll call you back in 5 minutes". Five minutes passed and no call back. The Zip supervisor suddenly had an "urgent matter" and disappeared and never returned my call.As a result of ZIP DROPPING the ball SEVERAL TIMES while knowing I had to vacate on the 28th because I just sold my home, I ultimately had to call a reliable moving company, which happened to arrive in 2 hours, NOT 2 days.Out of $3,717.53 paid to ZIP for nothing, ZIP only refunded $609 dollars and took no accountability for their actions or failures. ZIP refused to provide a full refund and kept $3,108.53 for doing absolutely NOTHING!! They indicated they would not refund my money because I canceled!! Again, Zip was a NO SHOW on the scheduled date on 6/27. Not to mention feeling UNSAFE around the aggressive man ZIP sent to my home in a U-HAUL truck and street attire.Their website lists a number of inconsistencies. I was NOT contacted in a timely manner, I did NOT receive assistance from the "crew leader", I did NOT receive a revised estimate (only a verbal demand for money), and finally when things fell apart the so called "customer service" and "supervisor" did NOTHING.This company has VERY questionable tactics and I have filed a complaint with the BBB. I will continue all efforts until I receive a full refund. I have posted this message on social media and I've encouraged my family and friends to do the same.I implore you to look very closely at the

The actual movers were sweet and very hard working but my overall experience was terrible. They also seem to struggle with my piano like no prior mover. The estimate was o half of the final cost. The truck broke down and when there was a delay for delivery, they charge me for storage.I was also told my stuff would not be mixed with other customers' and it was.

This was my second time using Zip and I highly recommend them. The movers hustled, took great care of my belongings and were easy to work with. The office staff was very communicative and pleasant.

5 star team! Had to move a 2 room apartment to a new house with 3 floors in the next county over. These guys are fast! They called 30 minutes before they arrived, and were very prompt and professional. Three gentlemen did a walkthrough of the apartment to understand the best route for moving my belongings. Most of my items were packed and ready, but they had to re-pack a few items to ensure their safety. Notably, they moved a couch, two beds, and carefully handled my tv and the credenza. All this, within a matter of two hours. From there, we walked through the apartment to ensure they got everything, and we even got a surprise visit from the manager to make sure we were being taken care of. When we got to the new house, they delivered all of our items in their rightful places, and asking us where each item goes. By the time I finished lunch, my furniture was in place. Did a final walkthrough, paid a very reasonable amount for their work. Decided to write this a couple weeks after the moving day, and happy to say all of our items are intact and undamaged. If you need to move, look no further than Zip Moving!
