“We used the Welcome Waggin for the first time this week to put our 14 year old miniature schnauzer to sleep. We had never used a mobile vet service and didn’t know what to expect, but Dr. Fagan and Sarah were very kind and helped us through a very difficult experience. They explained all of our options and the process to us, as well as any potential things that could happen given my dog’s cardiac issues. They were so gentle with her and gave us enough time to say goodbye and provided us with some words of encouragement that helped me feel significantly better. I feel so much more at peace knowing my dog passed away in her favorite spot with her favorite people in a relaxing and loving environment. Thank you to Dr. Fagan and Sarah for your compassion and assistance on a very difficult day for our family! We will certainly be sure to recommend the Welcome Waggin to others.”

“I have been going to VCA Naper Ridge for nearly 20 years! They continually go above and beyond to make sure not only my dog is comfortable but that I am. Currently I am taking my second dog to them. They helped me through the end of life of my last dog. My current dog has had unexpected, quick onset, medical issues that were difficult to navigate. Dr. Blentlinger and Dr. Ketner are always there to provide support and suggest steps forward as if it’s their own pet. I am infinitely grateful for these vets as well as all the staff here!

“Both my cats (Smokey & the Bandit) had wonderful exams. Need to curb Smokey from eating left overs from both bowls all the time. Plan on getting the puzzle dishes to make both chew their food & not gobble. I also had both their nails trimmed as you have more people to work with them.”
