Visited the store today. There were 6 store reps in the front and only one working while the store manager, Demi, chit chatted, even though she saw me standing in line waiting to be checked out. She did however take a customer after me. No one asked me if I needed help while I was there for 25 mins. Poor representation for Ulta. Looks like the Area Mgr needs to pay a visit. Coaching is needed for Demi.

I've been going to this location for years and it's great, they always have what I need. But I just went a couple of days ago, and I think I was talked to by 5 employees during the 10 minutes I was in there. I get saying hello when I walk in, but I felt like they were suspicious of me or something. I've never stolen any item, and it made me uncomfortable. I'm just trying to shop, I don't need help every minute. When I went to the checkout line, there was a security guard standing right by me which just made me feel even weirder. The employee in that area was also staring me down? Overall, just super uncomfortable and you guys should maybe lay off the talking a bit. Otherwise, it's a great store.

I went in today to grab a new perfume scent. The lady who helped me was super nice and helpful! Checkout experience was just as lovely! The lady there was also fabulous!! Thank you for a nice shopping experience!!

Mia always does a great job with my hair. I always trust her with my hair and I always walk out loving it. Mia always makes sure we are on the same page about what is wanting to be done and let’s me know what is going on through each step of the process. She has done both highlights and glosses on my brunette hair. She’s super sweet and great at what she does!!

Cancelled my appointment but did not offer to make another with someone else. Just said the person I chose will be away for a while. Then when I went to get the birthday item they said they ran out. I came 2 weeks later. They still don’t have any. They also instructed me to go to the Oswego location. What is their problem? They should have closed down this location instead of Naperville downtown.

I have not had a change in my makeup routine since high school. For my 48th birthday, I asked for a complete make-up consultation and new makeup as my gift request from my family and hubby. So, with birthday funds in the purse, I found an amazing representative to help me. Her name is escaping me, but when she asked if I needed help, I explained my needs for new makeup that matched my complexion and gave me a boost in brighter skin. She was perfect. Her face looked exactly as what I wanted. Bright, clear, and as if she wasn't wearing anything at all. She spent over an hour with me. We worked together to find the right brands, coverage, and shades. For a while, every brand she put on me, within a few moments, would start to turn orange looking. She was so kind and personable. She went into a definite mission mode to find the right brand for me. We both got frustrated at the problem we were having, but she never gave up.
She never made me feel I was taking up her time, never made me feel like I was taking her away from something else more important. She gave me every product from wash to bronzer to sunscreen care to educate me how far makeup has come in 35 years. I didn't feel pressured to buy more than I could afford. In the end, after over an hour, I decided on skin moisturizer, primer, concealer, foundation, mascara, blush, some neck cream, and a few nail polishes I saw on clearance. She gave me a few small samples for a deep moisturerizer she felt I really needed. She said I could try the samples and see the difference and come back later, If I agreed with her, the difference it would make. When the total was getting over the funds I had, she found me comparable products for less. The blush i loved was too expensive, so she found me the ulta color and put it on me to be sure i agreed.
I got everything I wanted. I spent $248, just $2 shy of my birthday funds, and I got everything I needed, and I definitely felt every penny was worth it. I wish I could remember her name, I will update this when I do. She made me an ulta customer for life. I am.so.glad I went to THIS ulta location because I know the one in Bolingbrook would not have been the same experience. This location and this sales consultant were key to my feelings.
I wanna say her name was Michele. She was shoulder length brown hair, perfect complexion, and around 5'6. Slender and so kind. Go visit, she will stick out. Truly genuinely kind people also do!

I was helped out about two weeks ago by Hailey (she is the Lancôme Consultant) and l hardly ever write reviews but I think she is so deserving of one! She is extremely honest and patient with all her customers, including me. I have always struggled with having acne prone skin and all the products she recommended for me genuinely saved my skin. For those who are interested I was recommended Murad, La Roche-Posay spf, and Good Molecules:) She talked with my mom and me for about an hour or more and not once did we feel rushed. Ulta Beauty you hired an amazing associate. Props to you, and thank you again Hailey!

The cashier name is Meghanat , she is so dumb and doesn’t even know how to scan a product and she knows how to say “ am sorry I can’t do that “. That’s all she knows I had the same experience with her in the Naperville downtown Ulta store but here in the Aurora store the manager is very nice so she couldn’t act like she owns the store. I am glad that they transferred her to this store.

Got my haircut with Carmina. Shes’s a lovely lady but she gave me the worst haircut. I came in with pictures of how I wanted my hair. Unfortunately. It was not how i expected it to be. She also had low heat on while blow drying my hair to make it straight when obviously I needed more heat to straighten out my waves. It was the worst blow out.In my pictures, I showed her that I wanted beachy waves- she didn’t do it and I had to remind her at the end. I’m glad I actually spoke up ! She told me she ad to hurry because she had another customer. She literally curled my hair in 5 min to finish up quickly. Didn’t like it at all.
