We have had a wonderful experience over the last year. Great teachers and our children are excited to go to school each day…

We love this daycare! Our kids have learned so much, and have the opportunity to socialize and learn from kids their own age. The staff’s communication is excellent, and they clearly care a lot for the kids. Breakfast, lunch and snack are provided. Check in system is easy. Parents can stop in anytime to see the students through classroom windows. Electronic reports are provided each day, often with a photo of the child. Doors are secured with phone activated locks, and security cameras are onsite.

We love our experience with Goddard. The school has an excellent curriculum program as well as social aspect for my child. This is his second year and is loving it. Very happy.

We LOVE the Goddard at 104th! My son has been going since he was 2 and is now off to Kindergarten and he is MORE than ready! All the teachers and director are wonderful, happy and helpful. Most of the teachers have been for years/ since we started-which can be rare at many daycares! They keep the kids engaged and have so many fun activities for them!

I am leaving this review, because I don’t want anyone else to ever experience the treatment I received from Laura Carter the director of this facility.Going through a divorce is already extremely hard as it is. I only encountered this woman one time in person. I was invited to a Mom n Muffins event for Mothers Day back in 2022. I waited until someone was able to grab her to give me permission to enter the building. When she saw me she appeared to be in a very bad mood she was not happy to see me. Before I could say anything she said,” wait here I’ll see if I can get permission for you to be here.”I smiled and said ok. She came back and didn’t say a word to me just opened the door and lead me to my daughters classroom. Upon leaving I asked her if I could talk to her, and asked her if she had a copy of our current court order. I was shocked with her behavior she was nasty, rude and started telling me she was not going to listen to me talk about my ex husband. At this point I asked her if she could bring someone else in as I didn’t like the way she was treating me she said no and continued to talk about Brian. Her behavior then escalated when I firmly said I was not here to talk about Brian and asked her why she was bringing him up?I had to quickly end the conversation because I was shocked with her anger and outburst towards me.I then sent an email to Donna the owner at that time, because I could not believe this woman’s behavior. Donna called me and apologized for her behavior and expressed that no parent regardless of the situation should ever be treated this way. And assured me that this would not happen again. However, I later found out that Laura Carter made false statements about my character to our GAL as well and continued with her lies. But, it did not stop there she continued to make up additional lies to our custody evaluator when interviewed of things I “asked” from the staff which are false. I am not sure if she realizes the extend of her lies and how they can greatly affect lives and the damages this has caused to me and the lines of my children. This is absolutely not ok. It is beyond me that someone like this would still be in a leadership position in childcare facility where families place their trust and care on these individuals and who promotes the best interest of the children and families.I hope that no other parent experiences what I have experienced with Laura Carter. I have no idea why she has felt the need to defame my character. And it is my hopes that no other parent should ever experience what I have with this individual. This facility had a camera located inside her office. If the camera has an audio we could see and hear how this woman spoke to me and her awful treatment. I would never recommend any of my Naperville friends and family to this facility not because of the teachers they were all sweet and very kind to me, but because of LAURA CARTER.Mrs. Brittany and Natti thank you for loving on my girl and always being so kind to our kids.

I cannot say enough good things about the Goddard School off of 104th in Naperville. The director (Laura) and owner (Dona) bent over backwards to accommodate both of my children during a very difficult and trying family matter. They always followed up on my emails or phone calls and made very effort to assist as much as they could. The teachers, specifically Ms. Brittany and Ms. Amanda, were truly outstanding. They cared for my daughter as if she were their own. My daughter always left smiling and I could feel the genuine care, warmth, and love every time I dropped off or picked up my daughter. They even did her hair on a very regular basis, which I greatly appreciated! Ms Natty was fantastic as was Ms. Rachel (which my son always wanted to say hello whenever we picked up his sister), as well as some of the other teachers of whom I can't recall their name right now. The only reason we left was due to relocating to another town otherwise both of my children would still be there. Again, I can't say enough about the Goddard School and the experience my kids and I have. It was hard to say goodbye, but I know we will stop in occasionally to say hello and catch up!

We started our daughter at Goddard on 104th halfway through the school year when she was 2 years old. As parents, we were nervous, but she quickly fell in love with her teacher, Ms. Brittany. Ms. Brittany made her feel safe, loved, and excited to come to school! Then, when it was time to transition to the next classroom, we were nervous again. However, Ms. Bethany & Ms. Jess immediately made us all feel great! Our daughter quickly fell in love with them too. They communicated updates regularly, and were very patient and reassuring with us. Our daughter talked about them constantly. The love and warmth they showed toward her and all of the kids was clear. On top of that, our daughter learned SO much while she was there. We left the school to move out of state, and leaving Ms. Bethany & Ms. Jess was one of the hardest parts of saying goodbye. They helped reassure our daughter when she was nervous for the move, and helped to make her last days at school with them so special. We will always remember Goddard and the amazing teachers there for giving our daughter the best start to her school experience. We love Goddard!

Do not take your children to this location. The way staff handles kids is beyond me. There are better choices a bit further. Director Laura has no communication and no resolution straggles when it comes to safety of kids in their care. The way they handle incidents by not reporting it is really horrible (to find your child in pain for so long without contacting parents is just neglect on their behalf, and no ice to aid?!?!?! ) Take your children a bit further to other locations with cameras in their classroom. My child could wait to have his last day there.

This day care is dirty, germs are everywhere. My son got seriously sick after 3 days there. After we move to a different day care. We met a lady staff there, and she told us that she worked in Goddard before. And she said the staff in this Goddard school never clean things. And that confirms what we have experienced.I also want to say that my kid was treat really bad in the 3 days. When we pick him up at the end of the day. Both his eyes area were bulged and red. I can not imagine how long did he cried and has to clean the tears himself, just helplessly. He told me that except the 1st day, no teachers would hug him or be with him when he cried. I was so disappointed and shocked by how cruel and cold the teachers and the managers of the school are. What's worse, we end up have to pay $1632 for the 3 days in the day care. Jesus Christ! I remembered before I send my kid to this place. I saw a comment from a parent in a community group, saying that the director and owner of this school cares ONLY MONEY. They don't really care kids at all. And that's exactly what I have seen as well. I tried to schedule meetings with the director and the owner, they just don't care about my son's health. And they lie about many things during my meeting with them.

We have done a lot research and finally chosen this place for my kid's 1st day care. And the experience was so bad that my kid was scared of day care for a long time after withdrawing from there. We regret a lot that we did not pay enough attention to the earlier 1 star rating for this school. The director was very disorganized and arrogant. Plus, she tends to lie about their high stand and rules. And later on, we found many things she said were either not true or not followed through in practice in the day care. Please pay attention that the owners are lawyers. Their regulation and rules was set up very carefully to protect their day care. Which is much more mean than that of other common day cares.

The Children Are Wonderful ! They Were My Motivation To Come To Work Day-In & Day-Out. I Loved My Job . However, Lack Of Help In The Classroom Caused Immediate Burn Out . The Executive Director Is Two-Faced. It's Completely Unprofessional For Her To Call Someone Poison . She'll Make Promises To Your Face , But Never Follow Through . She'll Tell You ' I Never Said That, 'It Wasn't Me, ' You're Lying ' - Basically Anything To Make You Feel Unappreciated and Worthless . Make Sure To Document Everything and Get Things In Writing . The Executive Director Needs To Check On Her Staff And Not Assume Everything Is Okay; People Are Miserable At Goddard. Pay Is Low . There Is No Set Curriculum Plan And Very Minimal Resources For Teachers To Lesson Plan . Planning Time Is Not Given Often . When Teachers Plan , There Are Barely Any Computers Available, Because Everyone Plans At The Same Time. I Wish The Owner Was Aware About All Of This .

Absolutely love this school! The infant room teachers here are a true blessing. I feel extremely comfortable and confident in the care and attention my son receives when he is here. I travel from Oswego to Naperville because I truly feel it’s worth the commute. Top notch daycare.
