Attempted to return something today that I purchased as a Christmas gift the day after Christmas. It turns out I didn't need it anymore, however, had been sick with pneumonia and COVID for the last almost month. I went to return the item today and the online receipt said 1/25 (yesterday) although the paper receipt said 1/31. Regardless, they would not return the item in perfect condition one day late and would prefer that people come into the store contagious with high fevers as there's not even a days wiggle room. The woman I dealt with was rude, did not try to assist at all, and quite honestly had me in tears so I couldn't even ask for further assistance. Frustrating for someone who shops at Target often. Online chat told me the store could make an exception but that they couldn't do anything to assist online.

Big Target without enough human cashiers or people who can help with merchandise. Very short staffed. If Target wants me to work for them (self-checkout) they should give me at least an employee discount and a little training.

Did my regular shopping routine as usual at target in Naperville Rt 59 I ended up paying at self checkout I had quite a few items in my cart And was scrambling to get them all scanned because I wanted to do separate transactions when I felt a target employee name "Debb" right behind me watching every move and making faces while starting at my cart and staring at me I then approached her and asked her why she was looking at me ? And made me feel very uncomfortable so if she can stop. made me feel like I was shoplifting . I did file a complain with the manager he did apologize But I hope actions were taken to prevent this from happening to someone else

So why the 4 stars,Target has done a revamp worth millions and not in favor of the customer to check out you have to walk the who length of the store then walk back to the other side to get to your car

This Target is rather clean just like most of the Target stores. The parking lot and landscaping is pleasant. This Targets store layout seems like it's backwards compared to all other Targets stores. I know I personally like to count on and know where things are. All target stores should have the same layout.

My overall experience was ok until I got home and discovered that the item that I purchased was opene(honey roasted cashews) and ate out of upon returning it for an exchange the next day the associate was very helpful and nice?

This one time, I came in here buying flowers. I usually go through self-checkout. But I saw a lady who looked nice. Went through her line, learned her name is Cornelia. As a regular in this Target location, I kept going in her line. She has a huge heart. I was buying flowers for my mom. She only had a cold, but every time I get sick, she takes the day off of work to stay with me and laugh with me, watch TV with me, all that and more. Cornelia is one of the first people ever who taught me the importance of getting to know the little people in your life. That in itself is the top way to making your hometown full of Jeep Wrangler drivers and lululemon wearers a true community. Also, I like the organization of the store and the app and all that, too. But building a community is the most important thing to any company. Thank you, Cornelia. You gave me an extremely important lesson. My heart when I first met you was as small as the heart of the Grinch. You helped it grow bigger.

It's Target. What's not to love? They are renovating it currently, so everything is a bit jumbled. I have found they can be low on inventory from time to time.

I left a bag of groceries and a few other items at the self check out on Wednesday and couldn't get back to the store until Friday. I figured that someone found it and tuned it in and they would put it in the freezer in back for a couple of days until someone contacted them. I went to customer service on Friday with the receipt and explained what happened. The lady at customer service couldn't be nicer and said to just pick up fresh groceries and come back to customer service and she would bag it. I thought this was so nice because it wasn't the store's fault, it was mine. I just really regret that in talking to her I forgot to ask her name or look at her name tag. I'm on a tight budget so this was such a kindness. Thank you!
