You probably won't see Frank, Dean, and Sammy hanging around here, but it sure looks like Vegas from the 50's right down to the logo on the sign. Had to stay overnight in the Chicago area following a late arrival from Europe, and the Stardust seemed like a good value. No frills, just a clean and comfortable room with a mid-century vibe. Decent area, friendly staff.

A nice, clean and comfortable throwback motel. Great for traveling working professionals. The room is very clean with TV, microwave and refrigerator. I would rather stay here, with its great location than the local Red Roof and Motel 6. Close to downtown Naperville, I-88 and plenty of area stores nearby)
Rooms: Old school (60s, 70s vibe) but very clean and well maintained. Think staying at nana's. Old, but well maintained furniture that you can tell is thoroughly cleaned daily
Nearby activities: Close to downtown Naperville, lots of shops and stores along Odgen Ave

This place is a "Back to the Future" throwback to the 1970s and it should have stayed there. Antiquated microwave and fridge. They provide only 3 pillows for two people on a king sized bed and only 2 bath towels. My wife uses 2 just to shower. No coffee in the rooms, you have to go to the office to get it and it's in an old carafe style pot that sits on the hot plate and cooks. There are semi and permanent residents there, some look like transient street people that pay weekly or monthly "rent". Our 1st night, the AC didn't work, it was a 92° day. Wanted to move us to another room, the AC didn't work in it either. The next day I said we wanted to just check out and was told "No Refunds" so we stayed. We then had to move ourselves and all of our luggage to a room in another building, on another floor, because their maintenance guy was on vacation so the AC could not be fixed. I'm a disabled vet and there were no elevators. There we other issues as well.
I HIGHLY recommend that anyone do NOT stay here, go somewhere, anywhere else. We'll never go back.

Noteworthy details: Old 1970s place. Antiquated microwave and fridge. Few outlets that won't support the weight of a recharging cube.No coffee maker in the rooms.

I wouldn't book here again. The room smelled musty when we got there. The A/C was basically just a fan, not comfortable in 90° weather. They had us switch rooms but not before a maid unexpectedly walked in on us. The outlets can't hold a charging block, they just fall out basically. The whole place is VERY outdated. I don't recommend this place.
Rooms: Outdated. Our A/C didn't work properly. They had us switch rooms the next morning but not before a maid walked in on us.
Noteworthy details: Don't book through Expedia, the hotel won't respond to them if you have an issue.

Okay, so... I picked this place for the price. The website for the motel has you book through booking dot com.
$85 for a room with a king bed, fridge, etc. Reviews said the beds were comfortable enough, so I went for it. Requested extra pillows and a room towards the back if possible.
We show up, guy at the counter tried to charge me twice as if I hadn't already put my info in on the website. He was nice enough. We get our room key, head to the room, it's a smoking room. I am reminded that I saw a review someone mentioned that being an option. I went back up and asked for a non-smoking. The guy tried to argue saying "You didn't ask for non-smoking." The website doesn't given you an option to choose. You have to specify request it. So I was charged another $20 because they didn't have the same room with non smoking.
No extra pillows, when requested, as the maid is the only person with the key to get them. She leaves for the day (at a reasonable hour, I assume.)
The non-smoking room was clean, bed was comfortable. Fridge had a small broken freezer door thing, but honestly, nbd. Shower water pressure was crazy high. Wish there was like .. a shelf or something in the shower to put shower things on. There was a handle for support in the shower, great for hitting your elbow on. Sheets came off through the night.
Next morning, the woman at the front counter explained that they're supposed to clarify, before payment, if the guest wants smoking or non. I would have preferred that the motel express that the motel has smoking and non-smoking rooms upfront.
Anyway, would not return.

Rooms: Stardust motel has king bed and 2 full size bed both smoking and non smoking rooms available.
There is only one non smoking jacuzzi room.
Nearby activities: It's walking distance from downtown Naperville and close to St Peter and Paul Catholic church and restaurant and grocery stores.
Safety: It's safe but you have to be cautious as it is a budget motel.
Walkability: You have Dunkin donuts bars Walgreens pizza places Mexican restaurant etc within walking distance.
Food and drinks: There's complementary coffee and vending machines with laundry room.
Plenty of restaurant within walking distance.
Noteworthy details: It's close to downtown Washington St and on Ogden Ave which has plenty of business and this is in extremely good location.
