I am so done with GreenState one day of overdraft next thing you know same day overdraft fees wose bank ever and you don’t get your money early so not open a checking account or have your payroll go to this bank cause of your payday is a Saturday you won’t get it til Monday or Tuesday

Literally a waste of time. I am affiliated with a federal credit union, I go and expecting to do what I can do at the homebase credit union, and other credit unions for them to say you need to go to the ATM the strictly do those things you’re wanting to do which makes no sense. Why haven’t affiliation if you’re gonna just say that.

Do yourself a favor and find another bank. It takes a lot for me to write a bad review. For context I’ve been an Oxford Bank member since I was 8 years old. I’m 29 currently and have never jumped through more hoops than being with GreenState Credit Union. Not sure if it was the name change that initiated things but that’s seems to be where the problems first began. Over the years I’ve made several mobile deposits and have never had an issue. I made a 3 mobile deposits recently to discover they now add a 2 day hold on the deposits. Inconvenient, but I’ll get over it. The most recent check I deposit, I call to ask to see if they can release a bit earlier. I’m met with a response of “the hold has been extended until December 5”. The manager Cheyenne tells me she’ll call the fraud department to have them validate the funds. She tells me they won’t. I ask for a number to speak with them directly to which she gave me a fake number to a random bank. Needless to say that bank had no idea what or who I was referring to and have never even heard of GreenState Credit union. I call back I get another rep on the phone to verify the number. She proceeds to tell me the fraud department doesn’t take external calls and that they didn’t feel comfortable releasing the funds because they can’t verify the location of the check. Find another bank.

Be sure to make sure your address is update before setting up an account here... I've had a checking account with Oxford since the beginning of this year, and when i set up the account, the accountant i worked with, said i was set up with online banking. I've NEVER had an issue up until this point. I went yesterday to withdraw money from my account... they let me know that $40 was taken out of my account because i.didn't update my address... I withdrawal money from the bank every 2 weeks and no one EVER said my address needed to be updated. I demanded that I get my $40 back. after waiting for the bank teller to talk to corporate (which took all day), they said the best they could do was $10... so today I went in for the $10 and to close my account. they then said that if I closed my account, I couldn't get my $10 back because they were doing it as a "courtesy to keep my account open". Pure ignorance on their part. Needless to say I WILL never bank with Oxford again. As a kid, I had my savings account with Oxford and loved it... you lost a long time customer over $40... but hey the poor get poorer and rich get richer I guess.. sad.
