This place has excellent customer service. Julian was a big help when I needed a decent pair of walking shoes. He was friendly, extremely knowledgeable and patient. Definitely will be back for future purchases for the family. Highly recommend!

I came to this NRC location to grab a gift card and I had an EXCELLENT (albeit brief) experience. Upon walking in the store seemed clean and well stocked. I was immediately greeted by Robby who was extremely friendly and conversational, asked me how I was doing and how he could help. I told him that I needed a gift card and he got right up (it looked like he had just finishing fitting someone for shoes and cleaning up a bit, but without hesitation he came right over to help me which was fantastic) and rang me up. Robby was quick, yet kind and friendly throughout the whole transaction. I will definitely be returning to and recommending this location to friends and family that are interested in running gear. Thanks Robby and NRC!

I recently came into the store trying to get some shoes to help with my new running adventure. I am extremely new in running in my mid to late 30's. I got some shoes and some inserts for my current running shoes. Erin was a great help. She measured my feet and watched my gate. She determined the best setup for me going forward. She didn't try to oversell me on things. I felt everything I purchased was needed and beneficial. She even sent me a hand written post card afterwards to make sure I was happy with my purchases. I strongly recommend this business and just as strongly recommend Erin as a great help.

This place is great. They helped me figure out what kind of foot I have and the exact shoe sizes I would need. Definitely wanna come back and buy a pair or two in the future.

I visited on 6/19/24 at 130pm. My husband and I were completely ignored, despite taking a number to wait for service. After we waited 35 minutes for our turn, employees went up to other impatient customers without numbers, and who hadn't been waiting nearly as long.
It was absolutely rude, and I cannot recommend this store any longer. The service failed here.

I visited NRC this afternoon to buy some energy gels for running. The staff at NRC South are super knowledgeable and friendly. They introduced me to the functionality and ingredients of different brands of energy gels, and gave recommendations based on my needs. During our conversation, I mentioned the blisters I get after long-distance running, and they suggested trying a new pair of running socks first. I had previously tried switching several socks, but none of these helped. So, I decided to give it a try and bought a pair of the Feetures socks. I then ran 5 miles right after that, and the experience was incredibly smooth; the socks did a great job! It was the greatest shopping experience ever. I highly recommend NRC!

After a very bad experience at another running store, I was so relieved to have such a great experience at Naperville Running Co. Chris was amazing and very attentive while being extremely knowledgable and friendly. I ended up losing my necklace that day and Chris searched everywhere I had been to find it- even the parking lot! I ended up finding it at home, but I'm so grateful for the effort, thought, and care put into my time at the store.
