A wonderful find! I just moved to Naperville from Chicago where I had a stylist for 10+ years that I was very devoted to. However, getting into the city for a cut & color with 2 small kids in tow was becoming impossible. I was overwhelmed by all the salon options in Naperville though. I happened to be driving through the strip mall where the Salon Avenue suites are located and went in out of curiousity. I have never seen a set up like Salon Avenue before - each suite is an independently run business with it's own hours, stylist, etc. I stopped to pick up a brochure from the Curls & Swirls suite and Gina greeted me very warmly. I explained that I was new to the area and looking for a new stylist. After chatting for a few minutes I made my first appointment with her partner Melissa. I have seen Melissa now for 6 months. She has cut my hair (a completely new style for me) about 10 times and colored it twice and every time I have been absolutely thrilled with the results. The prices are VERY reasonable (especially compared to Chicago) and the service is top notch. There is nothing pretentious about this place, it is relaxed and comfortable. The hours are fantastic too which is great for a Mom like me (where else can you get a haircut & color on a Sunday afternoon??) I am really, really happy that I found this salon.
