I recently moved to Naperville from Chicago with my wife and baby. Mike Long helped us navigate the buying process (first time homebuyers) and helped us secure our first home. My wife and I closed on our house in October 2023….but what a journey it was!We have been looking for houses in Naperville for few months unsuccessfully. On a spring afternoon of the same year, at an open house, we met Mike. We discussed about market conditions, what we were looking for and he made some suggestions on to approach our home searches. At that time we were working with a real estate agent. Few months later, still facing tough market conditions, we decided to reach out to Mike as he seemed very knowledgeable about Naperville. We put up a game plan given the competitiveness of the real estate market. Although the plan required us to make some adjustments and being patience, it paid off at the end.Mike has been on our sides throughout the process, sharing his knowledge, his network, always responsive, and more importantly to us, he was very patient and not trying to interfere in our decisions.

Mike Long is the perfect realtor if you are feeling unsure, confused, or nervous about the house hunt. Mike was patient through starts and stops in our home search, worked hard to understand what we were looking for, and educated us in all we would need to know to get through financing and be prepared to own our first home. We came into a confusing and challenging housing market, which Mike guided us through with humor and kindness. Mike was referred to me by a long time trusted friend and after my home buying experience with him, he is my new recommendation for anyone in the Western suburbs. It can be hard to find an agent that you can trust and Mike is that guy. I was new to the Western suburbs and he helped me narrow down to the right towns and neighborhoods. He is extremely knowledgeable and also always had my best interest in mind.He skillfully pointed out potential issues on property visits that could have cost ramifications for me to understand and include in my cost comparison. He also pulled extremely detailed comparison properties and included notes for each so I could clearly understand how we was arriving at the market value. I was amazed at how well he knew pricing within the Western suburbs even on a street by street basis since it varies so much with proximity to the Metra. He also knew I wanted to renovate the property and also pulled comps for post renovation condition so I could understand if it was going to be a good investment.He was very patient and supportive in helping me find my new home. He also was respectful and guarding of my personal time by providing feedback on properties to help thin down the options. When I was under contract but got some disturbing news at an inspection (by Dave the “Dream Killer” Inspector), Mike was 100% supportive that we move on and start looking again. He wasn’t trying to push me into buying something I wasn’t comfortable with anymore and I found that to be a indicator of his great character.If you are looking for an awesome agent that you can trust, always has your back and provides you with accurate information to make highly informed decisions, Mike is your guy. Mike was our realtor both for buying and selling our home. He did a great job educating us as home buyers and was very patient. He helped us find the perfect house in the perfect neighborhood for our family. Unfortunately we had to relocate 4 years later because of a family emergency. Selling our home was a difficult decision for us. It was overwhelming and very emotional. Mike was AMAZING! What should have been a difficult process turned out to be a smooth transaction because of Mike's hard work. He did a beautiful job marketing our home while also being so supportive to our family. He's professional, knowledgeable and most importantly- he really looks out for his clients best interest. . I really could not recommend him more!

t doesn’t get any better than Mike Long! We recently hired Mike Long as our agent to help us find a home for a cross-country move, and we were referred to Mike for his experience in the Naperville area. Mike was great with his communication - knowledgeable, honest, and friendly. We were able to do some virtual tours while we were out of state, and we put an offer on a home after he did a virtual showing with us. When we came to town to see the home in person, he took us on a tour of the city so we could learn more about the area. Even when we hit a few speed bumps with our purchase, Mike had our backs and helped us every step of the way so we didn't feel stressed. He even gave us referrals for help with different things for our home - flooring, cleaning, roofing, etc. This really helped us since we are new to the area. We couldn't have done this without all of Mike's help.
