$30 for an uneven, bad haircut. Total waste of money
The station was dirty when we got there, and I had to ask for it to be cleaned before setting my son in the seat. Laurie completely disregarded what we showed her we wanted and did her own thing. She kept telling us she would blend everything together, but that never happened. She just added a lot of product at the end and tried to sweep his hair over to one side. This was my son’s first haircut, and his hair looks terrible. The point of going to a salon was to avoid having an amateur looking haircut, but that’s exactly what we got. Never going back.

My daughter needed a haircut before an event and I stumbled in here as we were in the area. We were greeted and helped by Renee.
She provided Olivia and me with an amazing experience. Very professional and courteous. Such a kind person! Was very patient and interactive with her, and the hairstyle she gave her was gorgeous!
Renee, you have earned yourself a lotal customer!
I highly recommend Renee!

Came here for the first time with my sons yesterday and had the amazing pleasure of being helped by Renee. My sons are usually hyper during haircuts but she did a fantastic job with them and was extremely patient and playful throughout the process. You can see she is great with kids! Also, their haircuts were fresh and great looking!
I strongly recommend Renee, and will be referring my friends to this place!

I came with my son, and the hairdresser Renee, had a loud machine. My son was afraid and I ask her to use a child machine which is silent (they usually do have ones, we were constant customers to this place). She replied that I should not tell her with what equipmet she has to work and that if I do not like it, to schedule a different appointment. Very rude, lack of empathy and ignorant to child needs. You should revise your decision of coming to this place if your child is sound sensitive and you do not want to deal with rude service.

Absolutely bad behavior with kid & parents! Too expensive for the effort they put in! If you don’t pay them additional tips (what they want you to pay not what you want to pay) they behave rudely and unprofessionally!

KidSnips is about a 20-min. drive from me. I saw it recommended on a Naperville moms Facebook group, so decided to try it for my daughter’s first haircut. We were running late for our 10:30 appointment, as often happens when you’re trying to get a two-year-old and two-week-old out the door.
At 10:35, I received a call saying that we “missed” our appointment and would need to reschedule. I explained that I was literally two minutes away and asked if they could keep the appointment, but they said no, I’d have to reschedule. I’ve never heard of such a short grace period, even at an adult hair salon or a pediatrician’s office!
When we arrived at the new 11:15 appointment time, there were toys everywhere. The hair dresser called it “Santa’s workshop.” My daughter was super distracted by all the toys, making it hard to get her to sit down for the haircut.
The haircut itself was great, though. They put my daughter’s favorite show on an iPad, had her sit in a kid-sized police car, and gave her a cute unicorn robe. The stylist, Debi, was gentle and kind, and my daughter didn’t complain or whine at all like she typically does when we try to do her hair at home. At the end, she got to choose a lollipop and a little trinket. They also took her picture and gave her a special “my first haircut” certificate.
It was cute, and my daughter was happy, but let’s be honest, I’m often five minutes late everywhere these days, so I don’t think we’ll be back. I understand they want to stay on schedule, but it doesn’t seem very “kid or family-friendly.” Too stressful for a mom or dad with young kids!

My son (almost 4) does not like getting his hair cut and all the ladies here have been wonderful with working with him. They make it easy and comfortable.

If I could leave 10 stars I would!!! I HIGHLY recommend this place for children haircuts. My toddler is AFRAID of haircuts and for the first time ever he got a full haircut and while he was crying and screaming a little they were so understanding and comforting to him. So patient and such a great place. Will absolutely be coming back.

Hina was the BEST!!!
I had been there before and the haircut was not that great. But I saw her cutting other kids hair and thought I will give her a try and she did not disappoint!
She was quick, knew what she was doing, and gave a perfect haircut ! She is the reason I will come back.

What an amazing place. I had read good reviews about this place so we drove 45 mins to it. Debbie did a fantastic job with my kid's first haircut. She was friendly and kept my kid involved on how he wants his haircut. The haircut was perfect, service was amazing. 10/10 would return to this place again.
