Just visited Dr. Katherine Walker and her staff on December 18th. I felt she listened and did not rush through the appointment. She addressed every one of my concerns…a wonderful experience overall!

Dr. Walker is always a great listener. She came up with a plan to address my recent health concern and explained what might be going on and I felt very reassured. I'm so grateful she is my primary doctor.

Dr. Walker is personable, empathetic, and genuinely cares about her patients. She has spent ample time in our appointments and listening to/validating my concerns. With my daughter’s rare medical history, she allows me to voice my anxieties related to the past, while continuing to monitor and make sure my daughter is properly cared for.When we come in for a visit, she includes my daughter in the visit and engages her the entire time. My 4-year-old truly adores her!I also appreciate that Dr. Walker has never made me feel judged for my parenting choices, and has fully supported all of my decisions that fit best for our family.She is an excellent physician and I have zero complaints. I would recommend her to all of my family members and friends without hesitation and have full trust in her medical guidance and support.

Dr. Walker is the rare doctor who is knowledgable and also a good listener. She is thorough in her work, and also empathetic. I feel very lucky to have her as my doctor.

I wish there was a no star option. I have been a patient at this office for many years. They don’t seem helpful when it comes to needing something from them. A simple yearly all covered expenses by insurance checkup, on many occasions, they submit the wrong coded billing information which result in having to come out of pocket. The office manager is always not able to take our phone call to try to fix the issue. Every time we try to contact this office and after hearing our concern, they refer us to the office manager who is always busy and can’t take our call. When we ask to be transferred to her voicemail, they ask us to leave our name and phone number, but we never get a call back from anyone. It seems like I am just a number to them and are not interested about anything other than the money I bring in and that’s it. Don’t waste your time and find a different family doctor. I will be doing the same thing too.

Initially my experience with Dr. Walker was favorable. In the past 2 years it has been extremely difficult to get an appointment to see her. It is my opinion, that as a patient, I'm just a "number" and appointments are rushed. I do not feel like my health or concerns have been addressed properly. Medical decisions were made quickly and without concern for the negative effects to my health. Dr. Walkers response to my concern about a diagnosis that I received, at a far too young age, was delivered without any compassion or solutions. I'm extremely disappointed and I'm now having to start over with another doctor. I'm looking forward to working with a doctor that will listen to my concerns, go over my medical history and that will help me work towards being healthy again.

My family and I are huge fans of Dr. Walker, and she is the primary care doctor for all five of us. Dr. Walker is attentive, listens to her patients, and is an incredibly empathetic doctor. I would recommend her and this practice to anyone in Naperville.
