I wanted to share my experience about this Jewel-Osco that I have been shopping at everyday for years. However, I have noticed the customer service is really bad and the workers don't seem to care. For example, I went to buy 3 boxes of pop like I always do and the sign said 7.99 must buy multiples of 3 mix and match. When I went to the self checkout it came up as 9.99 even when I put in my phone number. I asked the lady working the self checkout and she had no idea what I was talking about - even the front end manager had no idea. They both were giving me attitude and did not seem to want to help. I was almost going to say if you are not going to help me I want to speak to the store director. I had to keep going back to the pop aisle for no reason. But when the lady working the self checkout scanned one box 3 times it worked. I said can you just give me the rest so I can pay and leave but she said no, so I ended up having to put back all the pop which was a hassle because that is the pop I wanted.I also feel like when I go into this Jewel and ask for help nobody is around and they don't know what they are doing or even care. Also my Just For You coupon clipping does not work for my store. I contacted the main office and they said they fixed it for me however it still does nothing. I understand Jewel was started when there was no modern technology or anything, but I think the customer service should be better. I think this is very unacceptable and needs to change. If this continues then I will go somewhere else to do my grocery shopping. Also what is the point of the Just For You coupon clipping if it does not work? I hope the management at this location can improve their customer service standards soon.

Love this grocery store. Some things can be pricey. If you pay attention to the sales and stock up on sales items, then it is a pretty good deal. Excellent meat and produce. Get 10% off coupons if you get your shots (flu, shingles, pneumonia, etc there)

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received during my recent interaction with your pharmacy at the Jewel Osco location in Naperville on 95th Street. On 3.21.2024, I called to inquire about my son's prescription and was met with rude and unprofessional behavior from the individual who answered the phone.From the onset of the call, the employee's tone was disrespectful, and she appeared to be talking down to me. Despite my polite inquiry about the status of my son's prescription, her responses were curt and dismissive. This behavior continued even after I reached out to my doctor to address the issue, and upon calling back, the same employee persisted in being rude and confrontational.I want to emphasize that my concern does not solely revolve around the prescription itself but rather the unacceptable treatment I experienced as a customer. I made it clear to the employee that her demeanor was offensive, yet she chose to disregard my complaint and accused me of falsehoods. This is not the level of professionalism or courtesy I expect when interacting with your pharmacy staff.As a loyal customer, I believe it is essential to bring such matters to your attention. I requested to speak with a manager during my last call in hopes of conveying my dissatisfaction directly. However, I fear that this incident may be indicative of a larger issue regarding customer service standards within your establishment.I urge you to take appropriate measures to address this issue and ensure that all employees are trained to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and respect when dealing with customers. It is crucial for your pharmacy to cultivate an environment where customers feel valued and respected.I sincerely hope that my feedback will prompt a thorough review of this matter and lead to improvements in your customer service practices. What has happened to this place? People in line and in the aisles are nice and helpful. But management needs to help this place. Dirty gloves on the ground, long check-out lines, no carts (how does that even happen), no baskets, three checkouts open, two self checkouts, and you could see people standing in the office upstairs just looking down at the lines. FYI, those one way windows don’t work that well…. There were carts scattered around where people clearly left because they couldn’t wait anymore. And so much cold food that was going to be wasted because they couldn’t put it back in those carts. This Jewel has lacked strong leadership for a while, which is why I normally avoid this location. This particular trip was the worst I’ve seen it.

Clean, organized and friendly staff. The prices are good and the selection of cheese containing microbial rennet is awesome! Their mini Blueberry Muffins are soft and taste fresh!
