I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received during my recent interaction with your pharmacy at the Jewel Osco location in Naperville on 95th Street. On 3.21.2024, I called to inquire about my son's prescription and was met with rude and unprofessional behavior from the individual who answered the phone. From the onset of the call, the employee's tone was disrespectful, and she appeared to be talking down to me. Despite my polite inquiry about the status of my son's prescription, her responses were curt and dismissive. This behavior continued even after I reached out to my doctor to address the issue, and upon calling back, the same employee persisted in being rude and confrontational.I want to emphasize that my concern does not solely revolve around the prescription itself but rather the unacceptable treatment I experienced as a customer. I made it clear to the employee that her demeanor was offensive, yet she chose to disregard my complaint and accused me of falsehoods. This is not the level of professionalism or courtesy I expect when interacting with your pharmacy staff. As a loyal customer, I believe it is essential to bring such matters to your attention. I requested to speak with a manager during my last call in hopes of conveying my dissatisfaction directly. However, I fear that this incident may be indicative of a larger issue regarding customer service standards within your establishment.I urge you to take appropriate measures to address this issue and ensure that all employees are trained to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and respect when dealing with customers. It is crucial for your pharmacy to cultivate an environment where customers feel valued and respected.I sincerely hope that my feedback will prompt a thorough review of this matter and lead to improvements in your customer service practices. Thank you for your attention to this issue, and I trust that you will take the necessary steps to prevent similar experiences for other customers in the future.Sincerely,Kelly Walker

This pharmacy is a complete mess! The employees could not be more rude and defensive. It's not worth going there for that reason alone.

I have been using Osco pharmacies for over 20 years. I transferred over to this pharmacy over on 95th street in Naperville roughly 3 years ago when I moved to Bolingbrook from Joliet. Upon coming to this location (as it’s the only 24 hour Osco pharmacy in my area) I expected the same quick, prompt, punctual, friendly service that you’d receive at the location on Caton Farm & 59 in Plainfield. Boyyyyy was I wrong. This pharmacy is a train wreck. At any given time of day you can call to fill a prescription (I fill about 25 a month due to having a terminal brain disease) and they take 8 hours or more to fill it, they will tell you it’s ready for pick up, and when you show up to pick it up, they will tell you they have no idea what RX you are talking about and force you to “re” fill it again and wait several days as they are backed up several hundred prescriptions (as told to me recently by one of their rude pharmacists) or they will tell you that they are still in the midst of filling it and to park and wait, and it will take another 45 minutes. They don’t respect the fact that their patients have deadly conditions and that they are handling medication for such, and that it must be done when a patient needs it, not on their time or whenever they feel like it. They also have technicians and pharmacists that cannot interpret insurance benefits or discount cards correctly, and will literally scream, yell, and argue with you over that they know what they are talking about and that you are wrong (even though your meds have been the same price for YEARS and insurance hasn’t changed) and they refuse to help until you call their boss Ryan or corporate. When they are acting like unprofessional clowns during their shift (which I’ve encountered on multiple occasions) and you demand to know the managing pharmacists name on duty to report them, they refuse to give their information as if they do not work for a public corporation. If I could persuade you with a million different reasons why NOT to use this pharmacy, I would, but I’d be typing all day. They are in need of and will be reported to the Illinois department of professional and financial regulation for their documented mishaps and behavior over the past several years. I’ve even gone as far as calling Albertsons corporate office to create change at this pharmacy and no sooner than an hour after speaking to the regional manager who promised change, did I speak to another disgruntled, lying pharmacist who deserves to be reported. The manager of the pharmacy could care less what is going on because several of you have the same complaint and he’s done nothing to change it. The state clearly needs to get involved with this particular organization.

Improved performance. Ryan the head pharmacist goes above and beyond and is an extreme asset to the business. Diana and Yvonne are both excellent techs. It's a pleasure doing business with them.

Very rude, least helpful, cannot have a reasonable conversation. And extremely lazy. The whole system in itself is a big mess and pharmacies like this only add fuel to the wire. This should not exist. Period.

I normally get my prescriptions at Walgreens but they were out of my medication. I called osco and they said they had it so I called my doctor that same day and she sent the script to osco for me. I called a little later to see if it was ready and told they didn't have any in stock. I said you had them earlier today when I checked and was told oh wait. We have 20. (The script obviously was for 30 ) I said I would take the 20 and said hopefully you will get more soon. When I called about 10 days later I was told I cannot have a partial script. lts a state law. Why wasn't I told this. Then I checked the law and I could have filled a partial script if it was within 72 hours. Sounds like a silly law but I wish I would have been informed. I would expect a pharmacy to do their job better than that and inform their customers properly. Very lazy. The pharmacist I spoke with did not care at all.

This pharmacy is one of the slowest locations I have ever been too. Not sure if it is the lack of employees or the employees in general. A drive thru should be used for convenience not for long winded orders. Unfortunately I have no choice but to us this location. The customer service suck beyond belief. The longest I have wait so far is over 15 minutes in the drive thru.

The State of Hawaii has a law that their pharmacies cannot fill prescriptions from out of state doctors. Two different Jewel pharmacy employees told me that the best way to handle my upcoming trip was to have my doctor call my prescriptions in to a pharmacy in Hawaii. They knew what medication it was and they knew what state. Both were repeated by them and myself multiple times in the many conversations we had. You have to look that stuff up before telling it to a patient.
