I did not receive my full refund from the federal and partial for the state and that’s not fair. I never had this happen ever in H&R Block and they act as if this does not exist or has not been happening for some time. I’m not going to H&R anymore. Not this location or any of the other ones in this country. I’m done

H&R block , what a scam. I’ve been buying the useless audit protection and when I do get audited due to their mistake, they don’t want to do anything about it. Had a appointment in person, they canceled in person and told me to email “Aamer Quadari” so he can look at it first. Email was sent June 27, 2022. Ive called multiple times and spoke to the Indian accented lady who keeps telling me we will call you. Now its July 28, 2022. Personally I won’t be using these clowns. Even if you do. Make sure you don’t buy their scam “audit protection “. As they will not try to figure out why you were audited as it’s requires them to pay the difference of IRS bill. Get yourself a real CPA and get your taxes done right.

This location has Very Poor skill set. They will direct us to all loopholes to get more refund. Which doesn’t make any sense and dont trust their recommendations.. Please stay far from this branch

Raj is brilliant. He is kind and friendly, and he works diligently and efficiently to maximize a person's tax return. His work is thorough, and I would not have anyone else do my taxes. Raj and H&R Block are excellent! Five stars! Thank you!

I got a letter from IRS saying I owed a lot of money..hr block says they stand behind the work so I called them.many times.#1,recording disconnected me.#2,talking to someone who put me on hold without telling me.i waited,then got a recorded message saying my name and they had no info.call back in 2 hrs.i had to be at work,so I couldn't.#3 talked to a nice person who said they'd call next day 2:15.at 2:30 I called(#4).they said there was a 2hr window to call.why? So when they didn't call after 4:30 I called again.told to leave msg, they'd call back.at 630 I left a message saying I wanted a call back.tired of waiting.not sure if it was the 6th or 7th call,got hold of someone who said come Monday (this was Friday and deadline approaching) Saturday someone called from another office and left me message.she sounded nice,but I was on my way to work and since I had ok to come Monday I didn't call back.we'll see what happens Monday..I will NOT be using them in the future.they charge a lot of money and if they can't keep their word about a phone call,they aren't reliable.the first office I went to was rude because I didn't have appointment.online and on the door it says walk-ins welcome.i understand if they couldn't do it that day,but he never wanted to make an appointment for me or tell me nicely to call back and schedule with receptionist that wasn't there

The process of getting my taxes filed is very easy. I am able to drop off my all of my information and when the work was complete, I received a call from Robert. We reviewed the filing, and had them sent electronically. Very easy and painless.

Wanda did my 2020 taxes and sent the return to the wrong address. Correct house number but wrong city. I never received my stimulus or tax refund due to this. Zero communication from Wanda. Tired to contact HR block and the IRS several times, obviously the IRS is backed up and barely takes calls, while HR block told me to wait for the check to bounce. I am a nurse and work 50+ hours a week and don’t have time to deal with this extra issue without adding a lot of unnecessary stress. Go to HR block in Plainfield if possible. Much more responsive and helpful.
