Overall, it was an okay experience. There were no major inconveniences or issues that ruined my day. The representative called before I arrived to inform me that they didn't have the vehicle I wanted, but they provided a different one, which was fine with me. The booking process was quick, taking less than five minutes. Although the car was dirty, it wasn't too bad, and the rate for the week was reasonable.

I would give zero star if possible. Reserved a car but when I arrived the lady told me there was no car available. Had to make a new reservation at O’Hare for my business trip. Absolutely unprofessional and horrible service. I would avoid this location at all cost.

Very awful behavior on the front desk. A female and a male has been continuously laughing when the card got declined. Highly unprofessional behavior.

I rented a car here a couple weeks ago and the entire experience was horrible. First their corporate set up an appointment with me and when I got there they said they had no cars when they actually did because they ended up eventually renting me one. They were extremely unprofessional and told me they wouldn’t take my insurance if anything happened to the rental which is illegal for them not to take my insurance. They even argued that with the State Farm agent when I had her on the phone. Last week I returned the car to the shop that my car was at as I was told they would send a driver to pick it up. The next day I received a call that said they would be charging me if it wasn’t returned and I called and was put on a 20 minute hold just to make sure they got the car back and I wouldn’t be charged. Today I woke up to a $255 charge on my card that my bank declined that was supposedly for “tolls.” I will be going to enterprise if I ever need to rent another car they are so rude and unprofessional here and I no longer trust them to have a card on file as they charge outrageous amounts for nothing insurance was paying for everything so I have no idea where that charge came from.

Chance was a pleasure to deal with. I was in and out of the location in a timely manner and I received very professional and personable service. I also observed chance treating other customers and employees with respect which made me even more confident that I would be taken care of. The return process was also simple and smooth. I’ve never been a fan of the rental car process, but dealing with professional people and friendly people always makes it that much easier.

Surprised with extra charges and they can’t do anything about it cuz they ALREADY closed the bill!!! And very unprofessional.. They tell you different amount over the phone and then hit you with different amount you have to pay unhappy with bad service…!!! And they told me they have driver to drop me off back to my place and when asked to be dropped they said they have no driver to take me back to my place very very bad service and lies over the phone !!!Never going rent ever again from this location.!!!

Terrible location with rude staff. Came here on time to get our car and the staff didn’t let us in. They kept laughing and saying we are sorry!!!!! My reservation confirmation was at 12:00 pm and I got there at 12 and I was told they are closed and they don’t care!

I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience while attempting to rent a car from Hertz. From the very start, it was evident that their customer service and communication skills were severely lacking.Firstly, when I called to inquire about renting a car covered by insurance, I was greeted by someone who seemed more like a stranger than a representative of the company. The individual on the phone failed to introduce themselves properly, leaving me feeling disconnected and undervalued as a potential customer.Moreover, the lack of direct responses to my queries was alarming. Instead of providing clear answers to my questions, the representative evaded them or seemed disinterested in addressing my concerns. When I inquired about the specific car I would be getting, I was met with a dismissive response, stating they didn't know and would provide whatever was available at the moment. This level of ignorance and indifference was highly unprofessional. Furthermore, despite expressing my need for an SUV, the representative failed to confirm its availability definitively. Their vague and uncertain responses wasted my time and showcased a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. Their attitude over the phone was appalling, and instead of trying to assist, it seemed to invite conflict. To add insult to injury, upon checking my reservation details, I noticed a discrepancy in the timing. They had altered the reservation time without informing me, leading to further inconvenience and frustration. Additionally, despite my request for an SUV with CarPlay for GPS purposes, the wrong vehicle was designated to my reservation, demonstrating a lack of attention to customer needs. Disappointed and fed up with Hertz's unprofessionalism, I canceled my reservation. I opted for Enterprise instead, where I was met with a pleasant, efficient, and courteous service that Hertz sorely lacks. It's apparent from my experience and other reviews that rudeness might just be a part of Hertz's company policy.Hertz, if you want to retain clients, it's imperative to improve your customer service drastically. Otherwise, more customers like myself will turn to competitors like Enterprise, leading to the eventual closure of your locations due to this abysmal level of service. Do better, Hertz - your customers deserve respect, clear communication, and professionalism.

Beware Kristy at this location is rude and unprofessional, I had a confirmed reservation for a Tesla and she gave the car I was in process of renting to another customer who wrecked his rental just before I signed the contract.Kristy was extremely rude and raised her drunk voice at us for no reason, when I told her I was going to raise complain about her behavior she did not care and said go ahead and yelled the manager’s name at us in front of other customers, this woman obviously has no class and poor people skills, she must be untouchable at this location because elsewhere she would have been fired on the spot. Incredible how someone of the street can supersede a Gold member with a confirmed reservation.I am adding 1 star because it is required to post this review.
