Our experience with Pam, the interior designer, has been wonderful! With her guidance and expertise, she steered us in the right direction and the rooms we furnished turned out amazing! She is easy to communicate with, responsive, followed through on everything, and generally provides great customer service. Can't wait to work with her again!

Unfortunately I have to reduce my 5 star review to a 2 after the conversation I had today with our interior designer. We have been purchasing furniture from Ethan Allen for 38 years, steadily in the last 3. In September we purchased a bedroom set along with bedding. Bedding came within a week but just received the headboard November 30. Still waiting for the rest of the furniture. Opened the bedding once we mounted the headboard on the wall. The decorative pillow clashed. I was told it couldn’t be returned because it was past the 30 day return period even though i didn’t open it and wasn’t able to put it together with the headboard until the headboard arrived 2 months later. They did offer to exchange for some pillow shams on the sales floor which we did not care for. Keep in mind the pillow represents .009 of our total bedroom purchase price.Today after several emails back and forth, our interior designer called and told me that if they go outside the corporate rules to take back the pillow, the manager would get yelled at then the managers’s boss would get yelled at and so on up the chain. However since we could not work out a good exchange option, she said to bring the pillow back and they will give me a refund. I was then informed that Ethan Allen corporate does not care about how much business we’ve given them that no corporate company in today’s world cares anymore. It’s not like the old mom and pop shops. So I take from our conversation that Ethan Allen does not care about their customers or in retaining loyal customers. I don’t know that I can continue to purchase from a company that does not value my patronage.

I went to purchase a couch and Roopa designed an entire room around it. I ended up purchasing a chair and a rug. There are a few other accessories that I will be adding to the room as well. The quality of the furniture is excellent and the design Roopa provided exceeded my expectations. She provided pictures of what the finished room would look like and even worked with me on another room in the house. I will be back.

The task of furnishing an entire home, while very exciting, can also be overwhelming. Shopping at Ethan Allen made the experience enjoyable and painless. Mark Kulesza, our Ethan Allen Interior Designer, was a pleasure to work with and helped me make informed decisions on all my furniture choices. I highly recommend Ethan Allen to others who want quality furniture that is built to LAST. I will be back there soon when we start to furnish our basement!

This is an updated review of store. While the sales experience was great, the actual product that was delivered was not worth the price paid. It was confirmed to be defective by Ethan Allen and even 9 months after the original order, we did not have the correct piece of furniture. Their Quality Control processes are non existent ! Id never go back to this store ever !

Happy customers! We needed a new area rug for our family room and wanted an updated look, but we were having trouble finding one that would work well with our existing furniture/decor. After much searching online and at many local stores we walked in to Ethan Allen. What a relief! Their Design Consultant Roopa was amazing! She has a great eye for what will work well and was quickly able to key in to our desires and preferences. Roopa offered several options with different looks. As we narrowed our selection she also helped us use Ethan Allen’s Area Rug Visualizer (in the Interior Design portion of their website) so that we could easily get a feel for what each rug would look like in our home. With Roopa’s decorating skills we ended up with a rug that we absolutely love!!! We highly recommend Ethan Allen and Roopa!

We purchased furniture for our entire first floor. While we are mostly happy with the furniture, the quality and design of the furniture is good, we find their customer service and delivery impossible for normal, working people to maneuver. If everything is ok, you're great, but the moment something is wrong, you're out of luck. And our salesperson was not much help with any defects in products, they do sales only, the rest is up to customer service. Make sure if you order from them you hold back as much money as you can, and if you order a lot of furniture, best to have it come in installments. The only leverage you will have is to decline payment on what is outstanding. We had to do that with a badly defective rug, if we did not have more furniture to be delivered and paid for, I'm afraid we would have been out of luck on the rug. We have two homes we remodeled recently, although Ethan Allen is close to both homes, we chose local companies, they were hands down more responsive and really worked with us for delivery and any other issues. I won't bore you with details, just be aware of what you're getting into with EA. The other reviews are older, but they still have the same issues. And after working with two other companies, there are good alternatives with the same selections and quality of furniture out there, and they were much more customer service friendly.

We just ordered new family room furniture, and Roopa was a great help to us. She listened closely as we discussed preferences and guided us patiently around the showroom, pointing out options and providing welcome advice. She worked with our space and existing furniture, creating various room arrangements for us to consider, and the pallets of colors and fabrics she brought together were beautiful. We are excited about our choices and will definitely seek Roopa’s design expertise in our future home decorating needs.

Pam at the Naperville Ethan Allen location has been a dream to work with. She visited my home shortly after I moved in and helped me reimagine my family room area. She assisted me in choosing a couch, chairs, pillows, and accessories, all why listening to my preferences and feedback. I absolutely love the space; it truly feels like home!

Pam did a fantastic job helping us decorate our new home that is currently under construction. We are relocating back to Illinois and still living in another state. Pam requested pictures of our current furniture and contacted the builder’s sales rep to get details about our new home i.e. building drawings, our color selections of cabinets, countertops and flooring. We are very pleased with her design skill and can't wait to move into our new house with our new Ethan Allen furniture.
