The entire back brake system of my Chevy had to be completely replaced—calipers and all—which we knew would be a costly repair, so finding a good mechanic was very important to us. Jon and his team were absolutely stellar—very kind, hard-working guys that do excellent work. Their costs for repair are very reasonable, and we were so relieved that we didn’t need to shell out as much as we thought we’d have to. Great communication, very on top of everything, no nonsense, and they had everything done within 2 hours. Thank you guys so much for your hard work! Glad we found our new go-to mechanic close to home. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

I have been bringing my vehicles to Cress Creek Automotive for close to 10 years, going back to when they were still at their old location on Ogden and Royal Saint George. They are honest, competent, fairly priced, and Jon is very accommodating and friendly. I very rarely write online reviews, but I felt this is merited because they recently went above-and-beyond to save me from the expensive consequences of a poor decision I made regarding my vehicle. Basically, I thought I could save a few bucks by going with one of those pre-winter snow tire sales through one of the major chain-store tire shops in the area. As a rule, I avoid chain-store type automotive places but, to my own detriment, I broke my own rule in this case. While I did save some money on the initial purchase, the inexperienced kid working at this chain store bolted all of my tires back on with such force that they were practically fused onto my vehicle and couldn’t be removed through normal means. As a result, Jon and his mechanics had to cut off many of the bolts and replace them. One of Jon’s employees is so skilled that he was actually able to cut out a frozen bolt/lug nut with a blowtorch without damaging the rim, saving me at least $500 in the process! This is one of many positive experiences I have had with Cress Creek Automotive. In sum, you can trust Cress Creek Automotive and I am confident in saying that you will always receive professional service at a fair price.

Jon and his staff are honest and hard-working professionals. They have a no-nonsense approach to getting your vehicle serviced in a timely manner without flogging you on price. After a lot of hunting around and poor experiences, Cress Creek is now my go-to shop.

They were great. Friendly, did good work at a reasonable price, and were able to fit me in around the holidays with a quick turnaround. They even stayed late to be able to finish the work for me with a same day delivery. I think we found our new auto shop.

I cannot say enough about the service I received here. It is increasingly difficult to find a mechanic with integrity and who will not take advantage that I'm a clueless car owner. Always takes the time to explain, walk through the issues and trouble shooting. Provides clear and consistent information, and even has informed me when no work was needed even though I was SURE it did. I will never take my car anywhere else and travel quite a bit to get there. Thank you!
