Store team tells you when you get to the register that they are only taking cash. The least they can do is put a sign up or have someone telling you at the door, before wasting time shopping and looking around. The Oswego store is better.

Even though they have a good collection, but the lines are always queued up with only 1 counter, max 2 counters operating. People nearly spend more than 20 min in the queue to pay.

I went to Burlington Coat Factory for the first time, and it was a good experience. The staff were helpful and friendly. I was a little disappointed they didn’t have snow pants, but that’s not the store’s fault. My favorite part was the woman at the checkout—she was super fast and friendly!

I visited here with my family on November 30, 2024 since we were visiting Chicago for Thanksgiving, and everything was going great until we checked out. When we passed through the exit after going through the checkout line, the anti theft scanner went off and we immediately stopped and walked back. The loss prevention person who looked like an Indian woman aggressively grabbed me on the shoulder, (I stopped right in front of the exit/scanner), and she snapped her fingers at me. She also rudely pushed me through the scanner which didn’t go off to her surprise. Turns out that my cousin purchased a purse which was proven by the receipt, and the cashier forgot to remove the security tag from the purse. A simple mistake from an employee should not be an excuse for a loss prevention employee to be rude and physically touch customers who were already walking up to them once the scanner went off. I work in healthcare and work with law enforcement all the time and this behavior is extremely frowned upon and unprofessional. We also complained to the register associate and they did apologize for this ordeal but after a few weeks of this occurring I’m still annoyed that this occurred. Will not return ever again even though they had a nice selection of clothes and I found a cool jacket on discount :(

I love Burlington! I always find something nice each time I visit. I could make it a habit to visit just to see what’s new every day. I recommend this place if you like designer fashions at a reasonable price. I love the way my outfits look as well. Sometimes I feel as if they were tailored just for me. Come and see for yourself. I hope you’ll be as pleased as I am. Before I forget, the coats are nice as well. Brand name coats at a great price! Check it out.
