By far the best place to purchase furniture! We wouldn't consider going anywhere else. From making our selection to delivery everything was very seamless! Both my boys love there new bedroom furniture!

I absolutely LOVE this store! I was afraid it would be too expensive as it is in downtown Naperville. What a great surprise to see quality furniture at reasonable prices. I was also surprised that this is a family owned business for 5 generations. They have furniture from American manufacturers. The couch I purchased is being made in Texas and the two chairs I ordered are being made in Indiana. Working with both mother and daughter owners was delightful. They are very knowledgeable, creative and helpful. I'm telling everybody I know who is looking to purchase furniture to check them out. Just experiencing their 1800 building is worth the trip. After shopping in so many furniture stores, I have found my favorite!

Way over priced. Rude and condescending employees. Went in to take a look. Pretty much ignored. When I asked for help it was like I was intruding. For the price they're asking you'd think service would make up. Nope.

We purchased 5 custom pillows from beidelman on 4/17. They told us, at the tome of purchase, it would probably take about 2.5 weeks. We called several times, and were told each time that the person that could assist was not in that day. We never got a call back until the pillows finally came in, on 6/7 and then recd a call to come in and pick them up. I can honestly say, for the price we paid for custom pillows, the quality is terrible. We love the fabric, but the seams and stuffing are awful. We would not go to beidelman's again, based on service and quality of product. Very disappointing!

Hello, it’s me, the infamous couch slapper.For those unaware, me and my friends were walking around Naperville looking for something fun to do. We found this cute little furniture shop and decided to check it out. My friend’s parents were looking for couch and she wanted to help them out.We went in, looked through the floors, and came back to the first floor. We were waiting around for a moment for some of our friends to catch up with us.I decided to wind up and slap the couch (with around the force of a pat on the back to a buddy). I then walked over to check out a staircase that I did not notice before.After this series of events, an employee came up and very rudely asked me to leave. We did so immediately.My friends eventually caught back up to us and told us the staff were gossiping about how “bratty, spoiled Naperville teens were vandalizing their store.”I am very sorry if the staff truly believe I harmed their product. But in my, and my friends’ opinions, this action was clearly rude and undeserving.- Luke Behrends

Not once were we running throughout the store. Completely blowing it out of proportion. Legitimately walking around waiting for friends a few stories up and touching the furniture while waiting gets us kicked out. It's also 11 pm on a saturday and you're replying to teenagers on yelp? sheesh

I've seen this store my entire life driving through downtown Naperville and always wondered about it. I ended up moving into a new home recently and needed some furniture to fill the space, but I wanted furniture that would last a really long time so I don't have to replace it for a long time. I was greeted by a very friendly staff member, who I later found out was one of the owners. He was incredibly helpful, took the time to go into the details of material used, where the furniture came from and how to care for my furniture, long-term. I was amazed at how much he knew about the furniture he was selling. Some people just show up to their job. This was not one of those people. He spent about 40 minutes with me, helped me decide on all the pieces, and ordered everything for me. He was right on target with the delivery dates. I am so incredibly pleased and will definitely be returning to buy more furniture in the future (even though these will probably last me a long time!). I'm proud to put my money toward one of the few family owned and operated stores left out there!

I do my best to support local businesses, and I did so recently when I needed some chairs for my living room. I decided to go to Beidelman Furniture because like my family business, they’ve been around for a long time, since 1861! I spent the first 20 minutes just chatting with the owners of the store. I loved the “small town” feel despite the size of this store. Three floors of furniture leaves little room for walking away empty handed. Plus, you get to select whatever fabric you want, and the selections there are incredible. Katie Beidelman simplified the process for me until I found the perfect fabric. I had a great experience and encourage folks to give it a try when social distancing is no more.

We love Beidelman's selection and service. We've been going here for nearly twenty years, and the whole experience is always friendly and low (no) pressure. They take their time with you as a customer to make sure the piece you order is what you want, and they deliver it as expected and on time. We've purchased many pieces from Beidelman's, and they all have a unique look and feel. Whenever we need something new, they are the first place we go. And it's also a pleasure to support an independent, local business. Whole-heartedly recommend this store!
