Cute toy store. Really needs a good cleaning though…

I wandered in to look around and the ladies working behind the counter would not stop bashing the kids saying how she thinks theirs lice in the helmets and how gross the kids are... very loudly as if they had no respect for the costumers in there... this went on for quiet a bit, so I had to get out. One was especially frustrated with the kids that when the kid didn't put the toy back immediately she'd brush past people very rudely without any excuse just to put the toy back... very unnecessary...

Friendly staff and a great selection of games. If you're looking for something to do with friends or family on a night in, Anderson's Toyshop has something for everyone.

Unique items along with classic toys. Great place to buy a present and to pick up a small quirky item for the kid at heart. You can use your Anderson's membership for a discount, too. It isn't cheap, but the items they sell aren't sold most places or are always a bit on the price side (like Playmobil). I love buying local and not from a big box store.

This has been a staple of downtown Naperville. For the amount of money they overcharge you would think they could be a little more friendly and giving. I took my granddaughter one day and was asked to leave because she had a lollipop in her mouth. She was 2 and was quite and was touching nothing. Today was the Naperville Halloween event and for a store that makes money off of children it was too cheap to provide any candy at any of its stores.

Tons of unique toys here and a nice train track play area.Definitely overpriced but depending on the cost I want to support this local business.

Tons of unique toys organized by age group. Everything feels like it was hand picked, curated almost. Our 2 y/o saw this scooter and instantly started to ride it, which shes never really done well with toys like that. Ended up walking out with one, and a bunch of ideas saved for her birthday. We'll be back.

Anderson’s is a cute little toy shop. The selection is a little small, and mostly for a younger audience. The play area for kids is very cute and the overall vibe of the shop is welcoming and friendly for kids.I waffles back-and-forth about giving this a 3, but went with 4 because of the vibe in the shop and the prices being mostly fair. The lack of selection will affect the likelihood of a return visit.

They have many choices of Melissa&Doug toys. I have seen some parts of the shop is empty so I’m worried for them. Hopefully they will survive these bad days. Wish to see more parents and children in the store. My son wants to get displayed magnetic puzzle. They are really helpful and give us very good price for the displayed item. Thanks and will be back again.

Very nice store with tons of cool products. I want to note that one of the associates, Callie, was extremely helpful and patient with the process of my gift selection. It was a very good customer experience and if you've left other toy stores with a bad impression of the staff and establishment. I can vouch that you will not feel the same way after shopping here.

Worst customer service ever. We bought an overpriced small can of crazy Aaron's putty that when we opened the box it came in, the putty was leaking out of the tin can that it stuck The cap shut. We went back 5 minutes after we purchased it to ask if we could exchange it and she kept arguing that there was nothing wrong with it so the answer was No. After an unnecessary amount of force, she forced the tin that was stuck open. The putty was hard and very dry. I told her there definitely is something wrong with it and that I'd like to exchange it. Nope- another excuse from her saying that it starts that way and will soften after playing with it. Well, FYI, it hasn't! It's an old hardened product that obviously got way too much air in the container that it was leaking out for who knows how long. She also made the excuse saying that we threw out the box so it's another reason why she can't take it back because "SHE WOULDNT BE ABLE TO PUT IT BACK ON THE SHELF AND RESELL IT". So... you're telling me that you're going to take this defective product and try to sell it to another customer?! That is some type of stingy business model. What a waste of money and time. Anderson's used to be one of Naperville's oldest gems. They definitely don't and shouldn't represent the standard that Naperville has built.

This review is based solely on the customer service and employees. The shop itself was cute and had some great toys. My girls and I stopped in this evening to check it out while I was waiting for my friend to meet me for dinner at Lou Malnatis next door. My kids were playing with the toys laid out on the tables that were obviously meant for kids to play with. From the minute I walked in, the young man behind the counter made me extremely uncomfortable. Not friendly at all, no smiles, almost downright rude. I spent a good 10 minutes perusing the store while my kids had fun playing at the train table, and the male employee watched me like a hawk, with a frown on his face, as if he thought I was going to steal something! It looked like a great toy store but they lost my business- hire friendly employees to work in a store for kids!!!!
