I stumbled upon the place due to Mundelein having a bike race. I was working near them on Sunday and was shocked to see it was open. Walked in mentioned it was my 1st time there, next thing I know the owner was giving me a tour and telling me the history of his families business. I loved it!!! Purchased 4 filets and hands down the best steak I have had. I also had 4 tamales and they were also top shelf. I am planning heading up there again with my wife to show her all the items they have there. Being a small business owner ourselves there is nothing better than helping each other.

It’s like a hidden gem to me. I recently discovered them, gave it a try and won’t go nowhere else! Very reasonable prices, whatever you need they have it! Impressed! Great customer service! Very nice team they have there! Your “freezer ready” service was an excellent bonus:) from store straight to the freezer:) wow ? I was double impressed by that! They even helped to carry the bags to the car! Triple impressed! I am pretty sure that every time I will go back there I will be impressed more and more!

Writing a review now even though been coming here for years. Best butcher in the area hands down. Selection is great, all meat is of the absolute highest quality. Pat and his team cut it and package it exactly how you want it. You can call ahead but it is also fun to go and watch the artists at work. We get all of our beef here but also indulge in sausages, hams, seafood, tamales, and other goodies.

Wonderful. Family business for about half a century. Just about any cut of beef you could want. Pork, Seafood, wine, beer, condiments, and more.. I.
Do not think I have ever encountered a more friendly and accommodating staff in a Butcher.
Shop. I do not think you will be disappointed.
