The work done was excellent and Renata greatly contributed to that. Her attention to details caught one mistake that could have been a disappointment. She made sure that every measurement fit into my space. She is an A+ employee! Thanks to GMG for making my kitchen beautiful.

This is a family own and operated business that does excellent work at an affordable price. We have used them three times now and each time they were very helpful at finding the best material for our needs and fabricating counter tops that have excellent fit and finish as installed, very pleased. The installation staff are very courteous, careful, and skilled in the performance of their work. We would recommend them to anyone!

They removed our granite kitchen countertops and replaced the tops with new quartz tops. They did an excellent job at a great price. Their office and production facility are in a building with several small businesses. It is a small showroom. I prefer that to a big, glitz operation with more overhead. I found them to be straightforward, no nonsense, friendly and professional. We selected our quartz elsewhere and I thought the price was a bit high. I searched the internet and found Granite & Marble Gallery. After reading the reviews, I decided to give them a try and visited their facility. Their price was great. They delivered fairly quickly, and did a great job! I would buy from them again.

Initially it was fine. They told me to go their local distributor to select the quartz. I did. When they came to install it, I realized it wasn't what I had selected. Called them up and showed them photos. At first they were reluctant to believe me, and I had to go to their shop. I showed them the photos of the quartz from the distributor's own website (and their customer's photos), and they tried to convince me that the brown worm like things were normal. I almost begged them to be fair. Then they pulled out the brochure they had and finally believed me bc the delivered stone looked nothing like the physical displays, online photos, or the brochure. Turns out the distributor had outdated displays and the newer version of this quartz was totally different. You know what? I wasn't mad. I actually felt bad bc I don't like to be of trouble to others even though it wasn't my fault. But they immediately blamed the distributor saying they made the mistake and that they're a small company so they can't check every slab. They're just the fabricators. So they told me to go to the distributor the next day. They said they'd called them to have the 3 new slabs ready for me. So I went. Did not have it ready and refused to show me all three. Told me to call G&M. So I did. I got caught in the middle. Told me they'll send photos of the other two from same lot. Ok sure. A couple days later they called me and told me to go in their office to physical okay the 3 slabs. Won't send photos. Now I was getting annoyed. I seriously devoted a lot of time to doing their bidding. My job matters too ok? I already went and they never apologized for wasting my time by not having it ready. Not only that, when I went again - they didn't have the slabs ready and get this - got mad when I asked to see all 3 slabs. They seemed so annoyed. They wanted me to peek at it sideways while it was stuck between two other slabs. Seriously? I'm doing what they asked me to do. I took extra time from my work day to verify the slabs. Shouldn't I be the one that's annoyed? Later on, they got annoyed bc I asked for final measurements. Got yelled at. Made a show of telling me how they use templates and would need so much work to tally that up. Told me to measure it myself. Told me that if every customer was like me, blah blah blah. I just left. It was so rude. Spoke to owner. He apologized but didn't take responsibility. Made excuses. Said they were understaffed and stressed. Said his mom in law was in the hospital. Said he would send me measurements that day. I said don't worry just send it within a week. I felt terrible for him. Nothing gets sent even a week later. But I get a call the day before install that they need to remeasure that day. Ok fine I change my work schedule to be home. The next morning I called to make sure they leave a wide enough opening for my stove bc they didn't during the first install, and the owner said his mom in law passed. Well that's terrible. They can't come that day. Told me to call the office for a reschedule and they wouldn't know when. Maybe tomorrow. Ok I'm fine with that. So I email the office. No response. Later that day my mom called. She happened to be at the home and apparently they showed up to install. I rush home from work. This is not professional behavior at all. I'm at their beck and call. Wait, they didn't even call me. Did they forget that I was their customer? Not their slave? It was going fine until Jose one of the guys starts giving me attitude. All I asked was that they control the dust bc they started cutting the quartz indoors. Stone dust everywhere like a white cloud. I had kids in the home breathing this in. Beforehand they told me they'd cut only a faucet hole in the garage but here they were trimming a lot more than the faucet in the house. But the thing is I would've been understanding if they just tried to control it better. Instead Jose gave me so much attitude and told me

Their website says to "visit their showroom" if you could call it that. It's a tiny office with a snarling, unfriendly dog and even unfriendlier people working there. Unhelpful, frosty woman basically told me everything was "very expensive" but did not give me actual prices and also told me that "no one does that anymore" when I said what I was looking for. I felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman when she tried to go dress shopping. I guess they have so much business they can afford to treat potential customers rudely.

We visited around 6-7 fabricators in the Lake County for our Kitchen Countertops. Granite & Marble gallery had the best price of all and definitely a great experience working with them. The entire process was very smooth and the guys who worked on our countertops were amazing. They are hidden in a small business park warehouse, which might make someone think twice. But they are a hidden gem. We highly recommend these guys.

I chose to stop by their store based on the positive Yelp reviews. We selected a remnant from their warehouse for a small bathroom project... a week later it was installed a looking great. It was fast, fairly priced, and done by true professionals.

On Friday, 11/22/19 we had kitchen countertops installed by the very efficient crew from Granite & Marble Gallery of Mundelein, IL. Every aspect of this process was nothing short of "top notch" - - from working with Renata in the selection of product and its pricing to the installation of our countertops by Cipriano and his crew! And everything was coordinated and over-seen by the owner and CEO, Darius, who was on site and personally followed up with us. My wife was over the moon with happiness; the truth is, we are both highly satisfied! We give the highest marks to this company and their entire staff!!
