My Best Friend ordered my Birthday Flowers online and as soon as they arrived I snapped a picture and sent yo her saying thank you for the lovely flowers. She was very di disappointed to see what I got she paid for the extra large and she thinks the arrangement I got was a small or medium! Not Good! She sent a Picture of what she choose...I'll post here for everyone to see.

The flower arrangement I received on Feb 5th was (and still is) beautiful 11 days later!! I've never had flowers last this long before and I've only had to pluck out a few wilted ones today. I've read the bad reviews .. it makes me a little nervous about ordering from them in the future .. but this experience has been great!

Got these from a friend for my bday and they randomly came across Designs by Carol online! Truly the most beautiful flowers that I ever received! Very fresh and lasted for weeks! (Keeping up with stem trimming) you know you order from a great reputable place when the flowers are fresh and last long! Would highly recommend ordering from Designs by Carol! Thank you!

It is a beautiful arrangement, much better than advertised! I ordered from Texas to Mundelein and constantly worried about flowers arriving on time and looking like what I ordered, especially at Christmas. These were on time and so very nice. Thank you!

I had placed a large order through 1800flowers for a party. I had ordered 25 arrangements for tables. The delivery had been left at my door and there was only ONE arrangement! Now, I'm not sure where this mistake was made, but it doesn't matter because within 2 hours, I received the remaining 2 dozen arrangements. They were all as beautiful as the first one, the team at Carol's was absolutely wonderful.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service. Been trying to call MULTIPLE times with no answer. When I finally did speak to someone it was a temp employee who's only job was to answer the phone which they clearly have not been doing, and they said i would get a call back which I have NOT received. Don't not order from here because they do not provide updates, they do not call customers back, and they do not answer calls. My flowers have still not arrived and at this point highly doubt they will.

One star for being able to actually do a delivery... zero stars for the flowers... they were dead! My husband placed the order through 1800 flowers (that's a whole different unpleasant story) . My husband paid extra for delivery on the Friday as it was Mothers Day weekend. Mother's Day being the anniversary of the death of our daughter and a very difficult day as you can imagine. The flowers arrived and immediately I could see through the cellophane wrapping the flowers were old and way past their best ... upon unwrapping two roses fell apart in my hands and the rest were not far behind. The alstromeria was already rotting and yellowed leaves. The Pom chrysanthemum falling apart. The water so dirty that there is just no way that this could have been made fresh ! I immediately tried contacting Designs by Carol as that is who 1800 used as their fullfillment centre. ... voicemail! I left numerous messages saying how disappointed I was and could someone call me back urgently! So far its almost a month and nobody from Designs by Carol has bothered to call me back! 1800 is a joke and promised to have a new arrangement sent the following week... which never transpired... many phone calls and online chats and we were then told the florist cancelled the second replacement order! So eventually we received our money back after many emotional tears on my part. I did not need to be sent dead flowers for my dead daughter! Having been involved in the floral and events industry for over 30 years in 3 different countries... I am just absolutely flabbergasted that a florist would even think this is remotely ok to send such shoddy work out and flowers that were way past their best! A true reflection on this company on how they value their customers ! I would 100% avoid them AND 1800 flowers! Not acceptable in any shape or form!

I am so appalled and upset right now… my husband ordered a floral arrangement as it’s the anniversary of our daughter passing… and what do I get… DEAD flowers! It’s Mother’s Day weekend and my husband paid extra to have these delivered today. The fact that this florist is happy to just not quality check the arrangement before sending… but actually use substandard and past their best flowers as well is inexscusable. The rose heads are all soft and actually 3 have fallen apart ! The Lillies are completely open and totally bruised with yellowed OLD leaves! The alstromeria has yellowed leaves and even the green button chrysanthemum are falling apart. The water is old and dirty and there is no way this was made fresh! I have tried to send a message via their contact us form and it won’t accept it. I have left two messages on their answer machine and nothing back as they are not answering their phones! My husband is so disappointed as it’s a very difficult weekend for us as it is… I’m just appalled at the lack of professional pride that they felt it’s suitable to send this out! I am having to reassure my husband that “it’s the thought that counts” but I am both fuming and upset at the same time!I have been in the floral and events industry over 25 years in multiple countries … and THIS…. Is unacceptable !

I ordered a centerpiece for a dinner party . When placing the order on line I was told that I had 3 hours to place order for same day delivery.so I assumed it would arrive. The centerpiece never arrived. I received email that delivery was attempted but this is absolutely NOT true as the recipient was home preparing for the party and waiting for the centerpiece. Cannot express my frustration and disappointment that it was not received and on top of that dishonest about the delivery attempt. this was very important and if they were not able to deliver should have notified me so I could have provided a replacement. I caution anyone thinking of ordereding from here to consider another, more dependable, honest florist!
