CVS in Mundelein is no good. The place is old and run-down, and the staff can be unfriendly and unhelpful.
But the worst part is their incompetence. They gave me the wrong prescription for my son. Luckily, it was the same medication and dosage, but we didn't realize it until he had already taken a pill. I don't understand how they could make such a mistake when they verified his name and birthday. My question is where is the quality control? This is extremely dangerous.

The pharmacy at the CVS has to be the worst ever the pharmacist his name is Evans. He talks down to people. He talks to people like he’s better than them. We had removed all of our prescriptions from the CVS because of this rude man do you wanna call my man? He is more of an animal than a man And I recently went to go fill one of my prescriptions and he says to me I don’t care I don’t care I don’t care. I’m not feeling your prescription. I am not doing this. Why should I when you haven’t filled the prescription with us in over three months, this is what the pharmacist said to me Words fail me I called corporate and the two women I spoke to were very nice and then I spoke to the pharmacist the corporate pharmacist Steven and he refused to call the actual location as gets passed down from one person to another person to another person all I have to say is if you have medicine do not bring it to the pharmacy here

Well, I have to agree with all the negative reviews. I have complaints about the pharmacy the pharmacist Evans He is more of an animal on the way he speaks to people he slammed the gate closed on me and my mother twice he tried calling the police on us. He is the rudest nastiest person I’ve ever met in my entire life. He’s just a vindictive person, not only that but the whole pharmacy staff with the exception of a few of the people there are so rude. We have removed all of our medication from this location because we will never we’re afraid to even get any medication there. They change medication on you they don’t know what they’re doing so beware beware.

Expensive. No cashiers on duty. No staff of sales floor. Self check out is only option and it is hit or miss if that is actually working.

If a zero was possible I’d click in a heart beat. Manager Anna, pretends she doesn’t speak Spanish, racist, rude, none the less terrible person to have as a manager. Never again shopping there. Oh and Anna once again, gets all up on my teenagers face? Seriously?

Always slow, was on hold for 20 minutes which is completely unacceptable. Can’t fill prescriptions due to lack of stock, had to get it else where. Doesn’t the store manager see all these negative reviews??? I’m changing institutions

Wish I could give a Zero. I've wanted to give a Zero before (actually thought I did).So... my doctor called in a prescription. I took my sweet time getting there, and it's quite a drive. It took an hour. We stopped for coffee even. I picked out addition items before getting in line, and had another Rx waiting too.Get to the line and my sick child's Rx that was called in an hour + prior is not ready. The tech says it will be a half hour. I ask if they can get it ready any quicker, since my sick kid is waiting in the car. The tech says "yeah, a half hour. It's not gonna help him right away anyway".WELL... no need to be snarky but it actually will help right away since one of them lS for the obnoxious cough he has?!?!?! SMH!So, we leave, and get home 11 minutes later, AND as soon as I set down at my desk I get the text that the Rx is ready for pickup. REALLY?So now the sick kid just laid down to rest.So when my husband is able to go, he gets there at 1:45 pm and they are closed for lunch.Ugh. Going to switch to the one in Target, I sure hope it's better.

They shorted me on my medication by 3 pills and it’s a controlled substance. Someone is obviously not honest here or it was a mistake but it’s kind of hard to make a mistake with a controlled substance. I counted my pills and came up with 27 when it’s a 30 day supply. Very angry.

Absolutely awful experience time and time again. Will be switching to Walgreens! My doctor called in an urgent prescription at 1 pm, my husband went over to pick it up 2 hrs later only to be told that they don't have it in stock and will get a week later. They offered to transfer it to another cvs pharmacy that has it in stock and we agreed. It is 7 pm now, the phones are down at the other pharmacy that is 30 min drive from us. My husband went there, and he is told he needs to wait 30 min for it to get fulfilled! Just awful!!! Cvs, you need to do better!!!

May in the RX has gone the extra mile!!I wasted my day calling for a medication somewhere that was out of stock. When I called May, she promptly helped me transferring my prescription to her to fill it right away. That’s the kind of service We need now a days!!! Thank you May!!!!!

I never have a problem unless Wendy is working. Then waits are long, things get processed wrong, or calls don’t get answered/get hung up on.
