Why are the car carts for kids not at the entrance & easily accessible for us parents to use? They're parked at the exit so I have to go inside of the store to go to the exit to put my child into the cart to then go back outside so I can get in the building since the automatic doors are one way doors. Absolutely stupid planning on this locations part.

I stood at bakery yesterday waiting for service after 2 PM on 9-11-2022.I watched a customer go to the bakery person whom looks like inventory as what they need to order or set out on the floor tables. She never looked my way and the othe gentleman in far away from counter looked straight at me and never actknowellege me. Then the bakery women walks right past me into bakery area without any actknowellegement of any kind. I am thinking wow this is the worse customer service I ever had at jewel bakery in Mundelein on hwy 176. About a few minutes later bakery women came to me and I handed her the bread to be sliced. She never said a word and when it was done she handed to me and I said thank you and walked away. I didn't see her name on her work shirt to report her to manager. I use to work in the deli then in a meat department at several stores at different times over period of 10 years. I was trained to great customers with a smile and ask if there is anything they need help. Then you help the customer. Kindness sells products. Very disappointed in my service.K.D.

I posted a picture of this store's washroom, which was disgusting, and it appears yelp removed it without informing me. Was the picture irrelevant? I don't think so. Why was it removed? It was a picture taken inside the actual store. I consider it the same as yelp removing a bad review. And we all know yelp doesn't do that. (Wink, wink.)

Terrible customer service, ONE lane open over 10 people in line. I walk to customer service with literally 3 things, and asked if she could ring me up. she refused to take care of me informing me she sent another cashier over. So I set my things down and politely asked her to have someone put my items back. WHere she very sarcastically and loudly said AWESOME. I get that she didn't want to help me for whatever reason, but don't get mad because I don't want to wait in a 20+ minute line and I ask you nicely to have someone put my stuff back. If you don't have enough people to jump on registers at 8pm then add self checkout.

This is my go to store because it is so close to my home And we have limited options in our area. I like the store ... my only complaint is some of the checkers are very unfriendly and unprofessional while others are fine. I have had several checkers who are younger that don't even recognize the fact that you are even there and seem tortured. I showed a discount card to a girl and I asked if she needed to see it and she said "I see it" then at the end didn't take off the $5 she SAID SHE SAW (in a very rude manner). One other checker adult male is the opposite... so busy talking and trying to be funny the entire time which makes me very uncomfortable. I think this location needs to focus on training the staff a bit more.

Always have to make a few trips, usually out of what I need,who is in charge of ordering I think they need a few more lessons. Service desk is no help just get a shrug. Where is the manager,nice store but needs someone to take it over and make it as good as the other Jewels.

Whether I have a good or bad experience at a place, I never put a review out there. But I feel it's a must in this situation. On Tuesday I placed a floral order for my daughters baptism with the manager of the floral department named Darcy. She had told me since the company they order from is closed she will leave it to be ordered first thing in the morning by the other lady that comes in. She told me to call in the morning just to verify that the lady took my order. Well at 10AM my phone rings and turns out the lady placing my order was calling me. We verified all prices and confirmed what items I still wanted and the ones I was getting rid of. She ensured me that the order was being placed immediately following the phone call and I would have my items by Friday evening as promised. Well..... I show up Friday at 5:30PM anxious to get my order and little behold.. NO ORDER WAS PLACED!!! The lady that called to confirm with me forgot to call it in!!! WHAAAATTTTT!!! I immediately asked for a manager since nobody was left in the floral department for the evening. Deborah came over to me and helped make this experience so much better. After searching the entire store for my order, she realized it really was MIA. Before I could blink my eyes, she had called the floral manager Darcy to see what happened and on her evening off Darcy flew back to work, walked around the entire floral department with me and assisted me on how she can spray my color selection of flowers just like the ones I had ordered. She made a few samples up and I think it turned out even better than before. She even knew I was making the centerpieces myself and made me a sample one to take home and copy off of!!!! I was stunned with how well this Jewel osco management handled my situation. A HUGE thank you to Darcy in floral and Deborah the assistant general manager. You truly turned a nightmare into dream!

I work next door to this establishment, and I go here every day. There is a Starbucks inside, which is nice. The staff of the Starbucks are awesome and remember everyone, it seems. It's nice to not have to say anything, just "the usual" and it's there in front of me. The front end staff is really nice, too. Always helpful. In fact, the only problem I have with this store is the deli. I would be happy to give this store a 5-star rating if it wasn't for the deli staff. Victor is the only person behind the deli counter who cares about customer service. He's apparently also the only person who knows how to make a freaking sandwich. The deli manager is also very nice, but don't be shocked that if neither of them are there, you go ignored for ten minutes or more.
