BEWARE. DO NOT LET THEM SERVICE YOUR VEHICLE. My check engine light came on 2 hours after an oil change that was done by Valvoline. Asked them to check if something was done wrong. They had my vehicle for 2 weeks. Monken said they didn't know for sure what was wrong but needs a new engine at a cost of over $12,000. We took to different mechanic for second opinion. The oil filler had been installed improperly by Valvoline. That was all. These crooks at Monken wanted $12k.

I recently got new brakes and had a few questions and concerns after install. The service department, the sales department and the new owner, Wes were all very attentive and remedied my concerns quickly. The staff at Monken Toyota of Mt. Vernon will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy and in a safe vehicle. It's nice to know that when I drop my car off there is a team of people making sure everything is done right. I am very appreciative to Wes, Joel and Aaron at the service department and the rest of their team for making me a very satisfied customer.
