DO NOT BUY GIFTCARDS FROM THIS WALGREENS!!!!
I graduated college a few weeks ago, and my mom bought me a Sephora giftcard from this Walgreens location as a present. A week later I go to use this giftcard on the Sephora website, and I’m told that there is an error in completing the payment. When I checked the funds on the giftcard, the balance came up as $0. Because my mom had proof that she did load money into the card, I went to the Walgreens right away. When I asked the seemingly single employee working, she told me to call the customer service number on the giftcard. When I called, the Sephora employee told me that the card was used in 3 separate transactions a couple of days before (which was not me), and that all the money in the card was gone. They told me because I bought the card from a third party, it was a “Walgreens problem.” I then called the Walgreens customer service, who then opened up a “case” for me. They told me to take pictures front and back of the giftcard and receipt, and send it to a specific email with my case number attached. I sent over the pictures, and they emailed me back saying they will get back to me in 2 to 3 weeks. 2 weeks later I get an email from Stephen M. from Walgreens Consumer relations telling me:
“Thank you for taking the time to contact us with your concern regarding the Sephora gift card/s you purchased from Walgreens. I am sorry to hear that you have fallen victim to one of the many scams that are currently plaguing our country.
We have worked diligently with our gift card vendor to research the card that you purchased from Walgreens, and I regret to inform you that all of the funds have been depleted from the card. Unfortunately you will not be eligible for any reimbursement.”
I replied to this email to ask why I am not eligible for reimbursement when clearly the fault is of the lack of security in the Walgreens, allowing for non-paying individuals to access gift cards on display. It has been almost 2 weeks since I sent the reply email; I have not heard back from them, and honestly I don’t expect to.
The reason why I am so disturbed is not only because this was my mother’s money that was used by these random “scammers,” but also that this apparently has been “plaguing our country,” and Walgreens (a multi-million dollar company) does not care at all about applying more security, reimbursing their customers, or even having the decency to answer questions sent to a consumer relations email. Do better Walgreens.

Chronically understaffed, yesteday there were 16 people in line and ONE cashier, and that cashier had the least sense of urgency I have ever seen despite the line backing up.
The pharmacy lines are even worse, I've been standing there blood coming out of my mouth, face swollen and puffy from a tooth extraction, for over an hour despite the fact they had called it in in advance because I was in pain. .
They have become annoying and slow enough I will actively avoid shopping here, go one block up Golf Road to CVS and you won't wait in line for 20 minutes. and the place doesn't look so run down and the tile all dingy.
If they actually spent money to hire good employees in sufficient quantity and put them on the schedule so there's not one or two overworked people running a whole store this would be a nice place to shop. For now. Avoid, go to CVS up the road.

They’re alright and get the job done, I didn’t realize the pharmacy closes for a meal break at 6:45 which makes sense but instead of letting me know that they were taking a break they were whispering amongst each other about how they’re closed & to just close it on me and lowered the window. Lol. Kinda unprofessional if you ask me but overall they do their job fine ?♀️

I came here after Horrible service at CVS.
The pharmacist was super helpful and filled my moms prescription away, and called back immediately.

This store sucks. I returned an empty ink cartridge I got the same day. with the cartridge. box, and I have receipt AND THEY REFUSE TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK! They had 5 staff watching me-no wonder they have to steal from customers.

I've been going to this Walgreens for years. I've never had a problem with my scrips. When I get a text that they're ready I always Prepay & put the QR Code in my Wallet. There's a sign for Express Pickup, I just show my QR Code and I'm out of there in less than a minute. I don't appreciate other customers waiting in the other line telling me "hey the line is back there". I point at the large sign & don't say a word. I prepay to avoid lines!!!

On 9/10/23 at 11pm I needed medicine really bad and the door was locked! I saw a lady inside and kept knocking and she walked away.

Definitely some of the most kind and helpful pharmacists I've ever experienced at any Walgreens. Thank you for being wonderful!

Says product available but it is not. No employee awareness. Especially when you get there at 6AM to find it. 0 stars if I could.
