Mi Mexico Grocery Store is a small hidden gem with delicious food right in the back. The menu features some of the best items, like the quesa-birria meal which is fire, and the tacos de birria and carnitas are very satisfying. The menudo is a favorite, with tripe that has an excellent texture and clean flavor. The store itself has fresh, visible meat that is fresher than other places, with cecina that has excellent flavor. The workers are great and friendly, running the place pretty well. However, the restaurant area can sometimes have loud behavior that is not family-oriented, which leads some customers to order their excellent food to go.
This little gem has delicious food right on back, its a hidden gem. If you want some fresh quesa birria tacos or carnitas or just steak tacos hit up this small joint you will be satisfied.

this is like an actual space from mexico. the menu far by is some of the best item they have, also the taco de birria. i came from south side chicago and will be going again.

I like this store because the meat is visibleFresher than other places, the cecina has an excellent flavor, usually here I only buy the meats and on the weekends the Menudo and the golden tacos are very good.
