I've been a member for 15 years and loved the atmosphere at this gym. Ever since the XSport merger, XSport people flooded in, grunting and dropping weights. This place went from a wonderful gym to a bottom of the barrel type of place filled with meathead characters. This used ti be my happy place and now I dread going. What a shame. It makes me sad but it's time to say good bye to LA fitness after 15 years.

I wish I could leave 0 stars for this gym. Once my favorite place I frequented since it opened, now a scary place. Since LA bought XSport, this gym is overflown by people as late as 7-8pm. It's hard to find a machine. You can hear weights being dropped, machines clacking. They are loud, obnoxious, staring a female up and down, making me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. It's beyond disappointing that this is what this gym has turned into. Sad really. It's like being on an episode of thug life. Leaving

I've been a member of LA Fitness in Mount Prospect, IL for quite some time now, and I have to say, this gym is fantastic! The facilities are top-notch, and the equipment is always in great condition.
One thing that really stands out is the cleanliness. The cleaning staff here do an incredible job. Every time I visit, the place is spotless. The locker rooms, showers, and workout areas are always clean and well-maintained. It's clear that the staff take pride in keeping this gym in excellent condition, which makes for a much more pleasant workout experience.
Overall, I highly recommend LA Fitness in Mount Prospect. The great atmosphere, excellent facilities, and outstanding cleanliness make it a perfect place to work out.

Worst gym ever. Expensive memberships for nothing. Most the Machines aren’t working. And they take months to get fix. No more LA fitness

Alexander the general manager was very polite and kind while signing me up for a membership. I loved this gym so far on my first couple days here, very professional staff!

The bathrooms are ugly, they smell bad and then the machines don't work and it takes a while to fix it, I don't recommend it ??

Jeremiah helped me sign up for my membership and was an amazing help, he made sure to get me the best deal and I’m very glad I was fortunate enough to come during his shift. Would highly recommend going with him.
