Jewels coupon clipping is hands down the most infuriating program, sometimes I buy something I hadn’t planned on purchasing because it’s for a “deal”..: if I don’t clip it before I enter my number at the register it doesn’t work, tonight I discovered that even though it’s a limit of 2 you have to purchase it all in the same transaction…and to the miserable cashier still wearing a face mask (FYI it doesn’t work if your nose isn’t covered) I hope you get employee of the month for following the rules and making the customer happy by giving me $3 discount on my strawberries because I didn’t purchase both on the same day on the same transaction. I stood at the deli counter for 15 minutes waiting for my number to be called when I noticed that none of the people waiting were being called. I asked the guy behind the deli counter who he was waiting on I was rudely told they were filling pre placed orders and I should place my order that way. If that is the case then why are you letting people take numbers when you have no intention of helping them. There are NO SIGNS posted making your customers aware of this.
I then complained at the service desk and was RUDELY told you have a new system.
I have never left a store so angry and I will NEVER shop at another Jewel again.
I am lucky, I live in an area where there is a grocery store on every block. I can shop at Mariano’s or Tony’s, they actual wait on you at their deli counter’s. I SM TAKING MY MONEY ELSEWHERE!

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, but the way my husband and I overheard the manager speaking to the employees was completely inappropriate. There were some issues with the registers and the manager was being incredibly rude to one poor girl, then when we needed help with propane and our cashier asked for the manager’s help, she snapped at him. I’ve been in management my entire adult life and rule #1 is you NEVER treat your team that way, no matter how stressed you may be. We were there around 2:30-3pm on Friday July 26th.

This is for the manager Kris (older lady) at the liquor/Spirit department. She was so rude and nasty she shouldn’t be working in customer service.
