“I recently stopped by to look around since I use to play 40K about 20 years ago. The store is well maintained and most of what you are looking for can be found in the store. Everyone is very friendly and willing to offer helpful tips and is a pleasant place to battle, build, and paint your miniatures. The store manager Mike is the driving force behind this store and he is extremely knowledgeable and is very passionate. Mike is honest, charismatic, and patient as I had a lot of catching up to do since I was 6 rule books behind. He offers free paint classes to help get you started as well and will answer any question you have.”

“Super bummed that this store is closing. It appears to have been closing for a while, but I was surprised to get a fairly recent email saying that they were still open. This place was a total staple of my childhood. I loved picking out Precious Moments here, in addition to browsing the beautiful collection of Lladros and so much more here. I bought Beanie Babies here when that craze was happening, many Oz pieces, and loved the gorgeous Cinderella Lladro display they once had--so intricate and beautiful. I'll miss this place! I popped in recently to buy some more Precious Moments, since they were what first really brought me to the shop.”

Alex took the time to walk me through all that was new and made some great recommendations on what to look for. Decided on a new Traxxas Stampede, but wanted more power so both Alex and Gary helped to upgrade the motor and ESC, get new 3S battery packs and had me ready for some fun! Got the unit home, charged up the packs and took it for a rip...AWESOME!! The level of service and help from these two guys was second to known! They know their stuff extremely well, and are great at offering advise. This is THE place to shop for all your hobby needs!!”

“I just purchased 2 sets of dice and an MTG single and I am honestly blown away. I just checked my email and saw that the emailed receipt included pictures of the exact dice I bought and the single. I'm sure you were able to download and adapt some sort of repository of mtg cards (which alone is going the extra mile) but for the dice I imagine that you had to photograph and log all of the different color variations!? The only Brick and mortar stores I can think of that email me a receipt with photos and hyperlinks is Best buy and Microcenter, which are billion dollar companies. If this is a huge company owned by some hedge fund please let me know, otherwise this has set the bar for all small brick and mortar stores in my book.”

“I took my two sons to the shop on Irving Park, and the owner spent an hour talking to them about cards, Chicago sports, and grading cards. Not only was he was so helpful and kind, he was also quite generous. It was my older son’s birthday, and the wonder gifted him and my younger son some cool cards. What an awesome place! “Incredible shop, something for every level collector. You will not leave empty handed. The clerk it knowledgeable and willing to advise if needed. If your looking for something extremely specific I would call first a few days before so he can set it aside, at times they are busy. And cannot hunt the very rare and obscure. None the less I love the shop but no longer live in the state.”

“Great selection and a clean store. Needs more staff, they are qoeking with a skeleton staff which is sad because they have great people that work there. They added self checkout kiosks which probably explains the lack of staff. Shame on corporate on doing that because I bought alot more when you had people to guide around and give creative suggestions and upsell. Their framing department is very knowledgeable and has great people. Got a ton of stuff done there including the gi my Sensi gave me.”
