Hearth & Home helped us refresh our 1980s fireplace. They were extremely communicative and helpful throughout the whole process. The crew texted the day before with a time window and called us when they were on the way. The work area was kept tidy and we were thrilled with the outcome. A mismeasurement was made with our mantel, but Hearth & Home went above and beyond to ensure that everything was completed to plan. Thank you, Hearth & Home!

Everyone at Hearth and Home were extremely knowledgeable and helpful in totally redesigning our old fireplace. Estimated times for materials and installation were accurate. The installers, Mario and Casey, paid close attention to detail during the installation, were punctual everyday, were mindful of protecting the rest of the room from debris and always cleaned up after themselves. We are extremely happy.

Hearth & Home stands behind their products the sell. We purchased a Green Mountain Grill last year that had issues from the start. We had a Green Mountain Daniel Boone previously and loved it. It finally gave out so we purchased a new model. Green Mountain tried to rectify the issues to no avail. Pat from Hearth & Home reached out to Green Mountain and together they came to the decision to just replace the grill completely. Now that is what I call Customer Service and Satisfaction. We have had the new grill for a couple of months and it works great. We use it 3 or 4 times a week. I smoked 3 corned beef brisket and they came out perfect. Thank you to Hearth & Home and GMG. We will certainly purchase other products from Heath & Home!

In the book, Outliers, Malcolm Gladwell speaks about working 10,000 hours in one's craft, in order to be deemed an expert. Some folks are disputing this but think about it, do you want the pilot of your plane on your trans-Pacific flight with 100 hours of flight experience?? Or do you want the person with 10,000 hours?? Speaking of pilots, the pilot light in my gas fireplace kept going out and it kept going out when outside temperatures went below 25F. That's right, it went out when you needed it most. So after firing up the pilot light manually for seemingly over two Winters, I said to myself, this is insanity. So I used Yelp to conduct a comparative analysis and called four fireplace companies. Here were the outcomes of those calls: - one company does not fix gas fireplaces. - the second company made me leave a message and it took the guy like 3 days to call back and he had an attitude like he was disgruntled from the get-go (meaning from the onset). - the third company wanted to charge a service call for diagnosing the problem and couldn't comment on the overall costs. - the fourth company was Hearth & Home and Pat (who turned out to be the owner) was a straight shooter (meaning forthcoming with details). Pat asked the year, make, model, serial number of my gas fireplace. He listened to me about my fireplace's symptoms and gave me a likely diagnosis and projected costs of the part and service. I had a very good feeling about his Integrity and thought the cost was reasonable. The appointment was booked and weeks later, Mike came as scheduled. Mike has 10 years experience and although he huffed and puffed here and there while fixing it, I had no doubt that with his expertise (10,000 hours) we would be up and running in no time. And that's what happened, my fireplace got fixed, within budget and right in time for me to make it to the Yelpies event last week!! Thank you Pat, Mike and H&H for this professional experience. Otherwise I would have missed that great event by Kesha and Celeste!!

Installing the gas insert into our old, unusable fireplace was the best thing we have done! We use the fireplace non-stop as soon as that first freeze comes and up until the weather changes in April. It was well worth the money. I highly recommend Hearth & Home! Great customer service too.

Purchasing a new gas fireplace through Hearth and Home was simple and their team did a phenomenal job installing it and making me aware of how it would be plumbed for gas. The installation was very clean and they spent time after explaining how to use the different features of the model we chose. I highly recommend them.

Nice gas fireplace but terrible gas line installation. 3 inches deep at best and unprotected buried black pipe. Discovered years later and they wanted $200/hour to redo it. Already paid to have it done right the first time so NO WAY!
