This is one of two Costco that we frequent. This location is in Randhurst Plaza across from Home Depot. The parking lot is huge, but in the natural Costco way it's always busy. At this Costco, we are always bound to purchase everything from clothing, household goods, liquor, fruits and veggies, and more. But the main reason why we frequent this Costco is because the staff is always great, and they are generally in stock of items we frequently use. Our most recent visit was during the snow storm last week, when we got there the stuff made sure that everyone who was there was safe and warm during their visit. They got folks through the check out line and I even noticed staff members helping folks putting groceries in cases for the elderly. For the value of purchasing in large quantities, to the quality of service, Costco is just the best all around. :)

The people they hire here to do samples are VERY slow and rude. They're getting paid and you should have some standards in who you hire and how they prepare samples. I think they purposely go slow when people are waiting. So you're losing business, Costco, b/c no one wants to wait to try something in a packed store you want to grab and go.

Mount prospect Costco Shannon bright huge friendly face at the door is great ! You gotta love mark at the door to his bright shirts ! Super great friendly service the pharmacy department here is great to!

I have used this pharmacy several times. Every single time, which I’m not exaggerating, there has always been a problem. They gave me the wrong medication this time around and are saying since I signed for it there is nothing they can do about. Now I’m out medication that I absolutely need.

Paid almost double for the tires we got. Horrible customer service. Nothing professional here. The selection was not there because everything was not in stock. Was told to come in the next day because they would have it then. Called in the next day and they said it was there. came in and was told they don't have the tires. This place can't even align the tires. Worst place to get your tires on.

Shocked by other not so awesome reviews as Dennis C. runs a stellar customer service team! I will be forever grateful for his professionalism and customer obsessed communication for my matter. Based on this experience alone, I'm a Costco member for life, especially at this location!

Worst Costco EVER!!! Line at Membership desk is all the way out the door, yet Dennis is casually behind the desk making small talk & sipping a Celsius. Finally my turn Vlad is assisting me & here comes Dennis, Celsius in hand to interrupt Dennis with something that definitely could've waited until Dennis finished with me the CUSTOMER. Vlad clearly can't multitask because he completely stopped assisting me to pay attention to Dennis. The only good thing about this experience was Johnny in electronics, & a nice customer in the lot who offered me the spot he'd been waiting on. Won't be returning to this location.

I want to give Kevin from the Tire Center a huge shout out. My tires needed air and the Mt Prospect location now has self service. I had no idea how to fill my tires but shortly after I got into a spot, Kevin came out and explained everything to me, ie, check tire pressure inside of front door, be sure # on the machine matches and how the hose will beep once I'm at the required "weight". I've been telling friends and family as it's a neat "self serve" option. THANK YOU Kevin for your patient customer service. I really, really appreciated it (especially will your garage full of cars!!!)

This is our go-to Costco and it has been plenty adequate and met our needs on a multitude of occasions. The clientele here is generally decent and respectful and that can make a big difference in your shopping. One Costco tends to have pushy and aggressive types and another Costco has a more unorganized haphazard crowd, but not here. The gas station here usually has a reasonable waiting time, unlike at Niles. The parking lot here is not as spacious as at Naperville, but it's adequate. The cashiers are experienced and efficient and the checkout times are good. Not all Costco have the same Asian oriented inventory, but this one is satisfactory for such. Sampling here is also on the decent side, but no Costco's give out samples like they do at Glenview lol. Overall, glad to have this one as our nearest Costco.

I have been a member of Costco since 2002 and was always impressed by the quality and prices of their items until recently, everything is at record price and I would not mind that, it is after all the general unfortunate situation with all the stores. But what I object at is keeping the quality of their product. For years, I purchased the Krenos feta cheese and never ever have I experienced any problem...for some 5$ it lasted forever and kept fresh in the fridge....lately, went to replenish and that brand is gone replaced by Kirkland which again I do not mind since I never had a problem with items by Kirkland until the feta cheese container, this time at double the price of Kronos and after I opened it and used one section, few days later, opened the container from the fridge only to get almost sick at the look of the content....all moldy, foamy and disgusting....hope management can look at that and test a few themselves before someone gets sick. Thanks for the attention.

The overall selection is just okay, and the parking lot can be a bit overwhelming. Here's some takeaways: Their baked goods such as croissants or muffins are good. Average prepared meals. The rotisserie chicken is edible but more often than not it's underprepared or slimy. I also once tried their ribs, and the taste was so chemically. I did recently get their street chicken taco kit, and was surprised that it was pretty good. Produce and bagged salad are fresh. Food court is quick, affordable, and tasty.
