I saw the Facebook ad and told a friend about the low cost. I accompanied my friend to the location. The parking lot was literally shared by at least eight businesses. Cars were backing up, going forward, parked helter skelter.... It was pretty disorganized. Walked into the office and nobody was there. Eventually my friend asked the mechanic, the ONLY employee there, could he get an oil change. The first disheartening thing was that his Honda SUV didn't qualify for the advertised price. My friend decided to go with it anyway because we came all that way. The mechanic told him it would be about 15 minutes wait so he could finish the car ahead of us. 45 minutes later, his car was brought in. Big sign on the wall about 20 minutes oil change. It took twice that long. The mechanic also acted as the cashier. He was very nice, respectful and answered all questions. Everything else was a huge disappointment.

Stopped in for an oil change, was not greeted, stood around for 5 minutes, went to leave, then was spoke too on my way out from the other side of the garage. Not sure what the guy said as he was not polite or speaking clearly. Left without the oil change and frustrated.
Would not recommend but would love to find a decent spot for an oil change that does not break the bank if anyone reading this can let me know.

HORRIBLE experience and man. Drove from the city for a groupon and showed up at 5:30 when they close at 6:00. Rafael refused to give me an oil change because “he had 3 cars lined up.” I told him I drove from the city after work and was leaving to drive to Denver tomorrow and pleaded with him that I needed the service and he was rude and vulgar and didn’t care. So maybe this is a good company, but Rafael is the worst employee I’ve ever dealt with.

Raphael is the best around. I came for a full synthetic oil change, and he recommended an engine flush. He explained everything in detail. Im extremely impressed with the service and details he provided me. Check out the deal on Groupon. Now I feel safe on the road!

I'm hesitant to trust the reviews here. The "10-minute oil change" promise was misleading, as it actually took 40 minutes due to understaffing. If you value your time, this may not be the best choice.

I’ve been a customer at this shop for five years, consistently receiving excellent service during weekday visits. However, my recent weekend visit was disappointing. I waited over an hour for an oil change, only to see multiple customers who arrived after me get serviced first. Despite being told I was third in line, I saw five cars go ahead of me before I decided to leave. Thankfully, I was able to get a refund from Groupon and went elsewhere.
I’m giving 3 stars because my past experiences have been positive, and the staff are generally honest and good people. Despite this one-off issue, I would still recommend this shop, but suggest visiting during the week (Monday to Friday).

Went there to get an oil change with my wife and the mechanic kept asking for a tip. First tried to up sell every possible filter change and then kept asking for a tip.

I am incredibly disappointed with my experience at Costa Oil and would strongly advise against anyone considering their services. I purchased a synthetic blend oil change voucher from them via Groupon, expecting a straightforward transaction. However, from the moment I arrived, the service went downhill.
Despite presenting my voucher for a synthetic blend oil change, the technician insisted that my car required fully synthetic oil, pushing me to upgrade at an additional cost of $44. Despite my clear refusal, he continued to pressure me, which was already an unpleasant start.
When it came time to pay, I expected a charge of $5 for disposal fees, as agreed upon ($2.5 each for the oil filter and waste oil). Instead, I was shocked to see a charge of $98.75 on my card. When I questioned this discrepancy, the technician admitted to charging me for the upgraded oil and wipers, neither of which I had agreed to or received. This blatant overcharge left me feeling swindled and taken advantage of.
Despite requesting a refund for the unauthorized charges, the technician claimed ignorance on how to process refunds and offered me store credits, which I declined. He assured me a refund would be arranged promptly, but this promise was never fulfilled. Multiple attempts to reach them by phone were futile, adding to my frustration and sense of being ignored.
In conclusion, my experience at Costa Oil was not only disappointing but also left me questioning their integrity and customer service. The lack of transparency, the attempts to upsell unnecessary services, and the failure to provide the service I paid for have led me to conclude that this establishment is not trustworthy. I would strongly caution anyone against using their services and will certainly not be recommending them to anyone in the future.

Excellent service! I had purchased a Groupon for this location, but then discovered that the coupon didn’t cover the oil necessary for my car, so Rafael offered a solution & made sure that any additional maintenance that my car required was also taken care of. He was very friendly & informative.

Love this place! I drive about 30 minutes to get my oil changed here. It’s a little hidden, but Rafael gives top notch service. He explained everything to me and also did an engine flush. It definitely needed it! It literally came out almost as dark as the old oil that was in there. Rafael was super friendly and I will definitely be continuing coming here for a quick oil change!

I had a very bad experience with this merchant. I just wanted to share my experience before anyone else falls for the same trap. They use the ‘bait-and-switch’ technique. I purchased a synthetic blend voucher from Groupon, but when I went there, they refused to honor it, claiming that they don’t use this type of oil for my car. When I asked, there is no specific car that requires only synthetic blend oil; it’s a generic version of full synthetic. If they’re not going to use it, why allow us to buy a coupon for it? When I inquired about upgrading on the Groupon, the manager said it would take 24 hours to release the payment, so I wouldn’t be able to use it that day. I’m sure you understand their technique of baiting you with a good deal and then finding reasons to upsell. This goes against their claim that they are an alternative to high-pressure sales tactics.

Excellent service! John was awesome, and service was great and pricing is reasonable. They also offer coupons on Groupon!!
