Love this little market place.. you can find food here that you can't get anywhere else in town. Try the French bread dipped in olive oil

For a new place just opening the check out folks have messed up attitudes. How about a hello or have a good night. Not even eye contact or a blessed thank you. My lord.

I wouldn’t recommend Caputos for happy hour in their deli/bar section due in their to disappointing service and understaffing issues. Some friends and I visited Caputos on a Tuesday night, and unfortunately, their decision to combine food prep and bar orders led to a chaotic experience. The lone staff member struggled to manage both sides of the bar, resulting in frequent check-ins and a less-than-ideal atmosphere. Caputos seems unprepared for crowds larger than three people. We eventually opted for Emerson’s across the street.I highly recommend avoiding this place for now!

The cafe and restaurant at Caputo’s in Mt Prospect is top notch. The food is delicious and prices are reasonable. The people that work there are super friendly and efficient. Need someplace for lunch or dinner give it a try.

I had an Arancini from there. The sauce and the presentation was good, but the arancini was terrible. The consistency was mush. Had some Italian pastries and they were tasteless. Being Italian, I expectvfore from an alleged Italian store.

Extremely clean. They have Happy Hour specials from 4-7 pm, if you want to have a bite to eat and a drink. Tuesday is senior discount day, 10% off. Watch for the $5 off coupon in the Mount Prospect flyer. Excellent produce. Very friendly staff. Indoor parking is a great option.

Very nice store with reasonable prices and a huge variety of different ethnic items. They even have the canned escargot. Nice deli, bakery, to-go options.

On Sunday afternoon, my partner and I had the worst experience at Caputo’s in Mount Prospect, IL. We were utilizing the self-checkout and needed assistance to purchase 2 containers of honeydew that were on sale for 99¢ (container pictured). The cashiers nearby were busy assisting other customers, so my partner went up to a female staff member with facial piercings at the customer service desk next to the checkout area. He asked her if she could help us. Her immediate response, and the only words she communicated directly toward him were, “Jesus fu*king Christ.” After saying that, she proceeded to retrieve a card on a lanyard from a male worker in a black zip-up who was checking others out, before using the card to enter in the sale cost of our 2 containers of honeydew. The whole time, as she did this, she was noticeably agitated and said nothing to us. When I thanked her for her help, she said nothing. Once she was done and went back to the help desk, my partner described to me of their interaction when he approached her for help. After finishing with checking out, I approached the female worker, who was still at the help desk, with 2 female staff members standing next to her. I said, “My partner asked you to help us, and thank you for helping us, but your immediate response was to say, ‘Jesus Fu*king Christ’?” She explained that she was busy counting cash and couldn’t leave her task but helped us anyway because she could see that it was busy and apologized. I told her that she could have explained that to us, and we would have understood. I advised her to explain as such if it were to happen again. We left feeling very disappointed and a little rattled by the incident. Undoubtedly, that was the worst customer service experience each of us have encountered.

Everything I hoped for any more. Have only been in twice so far but everything is reasonably priced, fresh, and outstanding selection of products from other countries. It's clean, the staff is friendly, and it's the perfect size to not be overwhelmed. Those who are disappointed and comparing it to Mariano's... you have awful taste.

Grocery is great for niche items not available at bigger stores (ie egg roll wrappers, almond fortune cookies)… would rec avoiding sandwich area as it is really hit or miss… when it hits though the sandwiches are fantastic

Everyone here is over the top nice and the food, deli, and meet quality looks beautiful. Also got some interesting fruits and vegetables that I don’t see everywhere. Enough gluten-free items sprinkled throughout the store and for my needs and I think this is an easy choice for meals on the go or meals to take home and bake. I’ll be back next week.

I wanted to give this 0 stars. I have been shopping at this grocery store since literally the day it opened, and recently a female manager "Angelica" has been brought in. She is, to say the least and to keep it G rated, unprofessional, loud, crass and a BULLY to the floor workers. As someone who works with the public, you need to respect the employees, they make it possible for the store to continue to run on the daily basis. I have heard her say some mean things about the employees as most of them do not speak English. So sad, to speak this way in front of paying customers about employees who continue to work their hardest. As I've mentioned already, I'm a daily customer. Do Better Caputos. Just because someone has a "title" doesn't mean they are worth keeping. As other people have been saying, I will also be going to Mariano's.

This is a nice, new, and unique Angelo Caputo's Fresh Markets that is housed on the ground floor of the Maple Street Lofts, a big apartment building. Naturally, it's not as big as their regular standalone grocery stores, but it's still plenty big and stocked with what seems like everything you might expect. We were enticed in with a paper flyer and promo. The store has a nice airy feel to it, good music, good staff and clientele, and it was pleasant to browse around, at least on a calm and uncrowded Friday mid-afternoon. Parking was easy right out front. Wife says their prices are reasonable. They have a Bar Angelo where you can buy beer and cocktails, though it should be noted that it's not a full bar. They also serve burgers, pizzas, sandwiches, and an assortment of appetizers. There's a nice shaded patio right outside the cafe as well as some indoor seating. I don't know if this bar/cafe setup is a common feature or not of Angelo Caputo's Fresh Markets, but I could see it working well especially for the very close-by apartment dwellers. Anyway, a thumbs-up impression from our first visit.
