In order to get the lowest advertised store price on Kroger merchandise you have to scan your card or provide your phone number. A strategy might be to use a common family phone number to more quickly build rewards. -Rather than BOGO their deal is Buy 5 Save 5. So on a frozen vegetable instead of paying the Kroger loyalty price of 2.29 you pay 1.29 each if you buy 5 in the same brand and category. Seems like a deal if they have sufficient stock when you are shopping.
