While visiting the Morris area from Virginia our van broke down and Tony's Pit was recommended by a local auto parts store. Our van was towed to Tony's and they promptly identified the issue and had our van on the road for an uneventful trip home that same day. KUDOS for a job well done!

I really wanted to give the shop a 5 star rating. I was visiting from Florida last week and my check engine light came on 2 days before we were leaving to drive home. Fortunately they were able to look at my car first thing Thursday morning. Tony first told me I needed a new coil pack for one of the cylinders: I didn’t find this surprising since we changed out the fuel injectors and spark plugs a couple months prior and it was mentioned I may need to do that soon. Then he showed me one of the new spark plugs that was put in that had a crack in it: It turned out a couple of them had a crack and he replaced all 4. I was impressed that I was out of there in less than 2 hours. However, later that evening, the light came back on so back to the shop Friday morning, the day we’re leaving. This time I’m told (and shown) the new fuel injector on the same cylinder was clogged. Now I’m not a mechanic, so I had to believe what looked dirty was actually bad. Geno called around getting a price for 1 injector and heard him get a price for $90, but when my choices were presented to me, I was told either $120 or $165 (give or take). I happened to be talking to a friend back home (who happens to be a mechanic) and was letting him know what was going on and he told me to be prepared to be there for at least 2 hours for the change out. But I was out in about 30 minutes. For the second day, I’m very grateful for the fast service. Fast forward a couple of hours, I stop to fuel up and when I start the car, guess what’s waiting for me? You guessed it! My friend the check engine light. I drove all the way home with it on, so that was fun. I took it into the shop today and they are fairly certain they never installed a new coil pack or injector. For whatever reason, the light went off a few days after we got home (nobody cleared it) but they’re thoroughly checking everything. I am not one to say people take advantage of a woman who’s alone, but I can’t help but to feel this is what happened here. I don’t want to believe that because the people were so great. I really feel like I was taken advantage of and ripped off. Not to mention they didn’t put the engine cover back on! So now I have to spend even more money on their mistake. This is very disappointing and disheartening and I wish I could have given it the rave review I had initially planned.
I don’t expect to hear back from them. I don’t even recall being asked for my name or phone number!! But from reading other comments (and I don’t typically put too much stock in the negatives for various reasons), I wish I would have gone elsewhere!

Great shop, Tony and his guys do great work, I now confidently recommend Tony to all of my friends and family. Fair and reliable, the absolute best experience I’ve had with a mechanic.

From my experience, Tony has always been a great guy towards me and helped me out when needed, but as I’m reading these comments about how some people have gotten their car in and out of his shop quickly makes me question why my car has now been at his shop for over a month and still haven’t gotten a call saying he was done with it. Great guy, but will definitely be taking my business elsewhere from now.Service: Auto maintenance

Some good people that work at this shop. I didn’t get the man’s name but i explained my situation and within 15 minutes they resolved my issue. Every other place had quoted me a day to even look at it. It seems like if they can help, they will. I would recommend this place to anyoneService: General repairs & maintenance

I havent lived in Morris long and you get nervous letting new people fix your cars but Tony has always gotten me in fast,He knows his stuff and has always gotten what is wrong fixed and done fast,I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP!

I needed my LED headlamp replaced right away, and he and his staff stayed open past their normal Saturday hours and fixed it right away. My husband is handicapped, and he is always given respectful, priority service.

Friendly and fast very busy placeI guess from great prices and service.had brakes, calibers , and rotors done.next day brake pedal seemed a lil soft they were fast to fix the problem lil air in line. Thank you guy's great job Great prices
