I have been waiting awhile before posting anything just to make sure. I have had people who were amazing at first then diminished politeness and service over time. So far, I feel like I am taking my car and my wife's car to a close family member. I feel like they go above and beyond but I also feel very comfortable with them. I would recommend Valentine's in Monticello, IL to people I like and Love.

They ruined my 2024 bronco sport engine after I simply needed an oil change. I am so disappointed in this family owned place. Unfortunately i am not the first person this has happened too. I hate to leave bad reviews on places but this needs to stop. I have called to speak to the owner but he refuses to speak to me and he refuses to fix what he has broken.

After getting a flat tire, I took my car to Valentine tire & automotive so it could be replaced. I knew my other tires were ready to be replaced as well and gave the go ahead. I was incredibly impressed with the thorough inspection Jared did on my car and found MULTIPLE issues that need to be addressed. Mind you, I bought my car 1 year ago and have had both KC Summers and napoleon’s BOTH look over and do service work on it and NEITHER mentioned any of the glaring issues Jared found. I am thankful to Jared for taking the time to do more than just replace my tires, I can tell he truly cares about his profession and looks out for his customers. He gave me an itemized list of work that needs to be done and was very transparent about a solid time frame I need to get some of the things done he also ranked the items in importance. Truly helps me budget and prioritize. Fair prices, GREAT turn around and exceptional customer service. I will absolutely be trusting Jared at Valentine tire and automotive for all my car needs.

My car had problems while I was driving from Indiana last week. The next day my car didn’t want to get out of my driveway. I have heard about the quality of work done at Valentines and now I have experienced it first hand. From the office manager to the mechanic, they communicate everything. They also had a car I could drive while mine was in the shop. They earned all my future business.

Even though they were unable to help me with my service issue, there were friendly, professional, and took the time, near the end of their business day, to listen, inspect my tire, and offer advice. I would definitely do business with them in the future. Thanks again for your time this afternoon.

Valentine’s gets the job done - trustworthy shop. I went in for tires, brakes and an oil change. They warrantied my brakes and told me my tires were good for another year or so. Im not a car guy so I need a shop that I can 100% trust not to rip me off - Valentine’s is that kind of shop!
