Do not bank here. I have had so many negative encounters with all staff. This used to be a great place with friendly people, now they are just blatantly rude. From the individual who did our mortgage not showing up for our appointment, to them hanging up on me mid-conversation, to accounting telling me to do one thing and then the teller saying that's completely wrong, to them double charging a debit and then not providing a refund for 90 days.

Customer service is unacceptable, most times when I need to go in person, they are never attentive or helpful, everyone is always acting with an attitude as if they are being forced to work there and treat the customer as an enemy, always with a condescending attitude. I don't recommend this Credit Union. The only people giving good ratings are the new customers that are getting their first loans.

I had an issue that I was very upset about. I came in to the Oswego location on Baseline Road. Shannon was very knowledgeable and helped me. I left very happy with her politeness and expertise to handle my issue. I want to praise Shannon for a job well done. Thank you

This bank is the biggest joke, I had the merchant I was dealing with and the bank on the phone so the merchant told them I was doubled charged and they can stop payment. Bank said they can not do that and they can dispute it but can take them 90 days to get my money back. Let alone the lady was rude at earthmover and pretty much didn't care now if it was her money I bett it would be fixed asap

I have been a member of Earth Movers credit union for over 13 years. I called and informed the visa card department that I was moving to a temporary address and that I needed my mail to come to this address, I sent an uploaded picture to them of the USPS letter showing the address changed. Earthmovers credit union continued to send my mail to my old address. I thought I lost my card, so the good thing is that they won't allow any charges to take place, however the only way to make a payment is by the automated customer service where you have to pay $10. Therefore, I send my payment through the mail. One of the representatives told me that this is my second card, and you are not going to get a new card because you have had one sent to you already. I have never received this type of horrible, insulting service. I am going to pay my card off and I wouldn't recommend anyone to use this credit union. When you employee ignorant people it identifies who your company truly is.

Disappointed! I do not know if it was just this branch or the whole organization. Now I have a inquiry and a whole lot of wasted time. They have a business development center that only cares about getting you to do a online app so they can get credit. I felt pressured to run my credit and will dispute with Transunion. I was approved for a loan. The email I received said approved and didn't say anything about a conditional approval. I was also contacted by another woman who set up a appointment at a local branch for me to sign loan documents and finalize the loan. Then I was contacted by a loan person who said that woman doesn't know what shes talking about and that they needed to verify income. Very unorganized and lack of communication. Not to mention after giving this compay personal information and a bunch of documents they asked for, I was told that my approval was now conditional???? Steer clear. Horrible experience.

This credit union is the absolute worst. The branches are located in minority populated areas however Earthmover Credit Union engages in terrible discriminatory practices against minorities/small business owners. This business engages in completely invasive practices and asks for personal information and documents for credit card applications that other banks don't even ask for. one would've thought that I was applying for a house or a car. Not to mention that the bank ran my credit 2x resulting in 2 hard inquiries in under 45 days without my permission. Typically I don't write reviews however this business needs to be exposed for their unprofessional discriminatory conduct. I asked for a guide on standard operating procedures/processes as their OWN procedures were not followed for my application whatsoever. When asked if everyone is treated this way with a 700+ Credit score/under 30% utilization rate the response was that the completely ridiculous requested documents are "up to the loan officer". This is laments terms for an overzealous individual who has no business processing loan applications because they do not view applicants in a fair light. I did not take heed to the negative reviews, do not make the same mistake as I did. Take your business to a bank with a great reputation, Earthmover is not it!

I have been with this company for 5 years plus and I can't wait to end my car loan! The beginning loan process is amazing until they tell you if you make all your payments on time you won't need a co-signer the next time around. The next time came and I still needed a co signer! It's now 3 years later with no missed payment history until recently, first time ever! No covid relief was offered, there is a 3rd party collection agency that calls you and does NOT state the reason they are calling or who they are calling in regards to IF they leave a voicemail. ( nobody would answer an unknown number especially if you don't owe anyone, it seemed like a car warranty telemarketing call). My co-signer was NEVER contacted at any point but of course they disagree. I never received a 10 day notice and I didn't receive a 20 day notice until after my 30 day missed payment. I finally received a email notification from an in house collection assistant Jennifer and it was already 30 days past due. I responded to her and have yet to receive an email response back. I was able to talk to her on the phone days later and all she stated was you talk to my manager already. I talked to the manager of the the in-house collection department Kelly and she told me to be happy my car wasn't reposed and that mistakes happen but there is nothing else she can do and proceeded to ask for my full loan payment and over charge me by $10. She also told me it's illegal (it's not) to report any adjustments to my credit report even for a good faith gesture. I told her that I would be switching credit unions and she disconnected the call abruptly. If you have tenure with this company it means nothing at all. If I missed a payment I understand that but the communication was little to none and I have NEVER been talked to or treated like this ever! I will be going to Navy federal or Great Lakes credit union.

Costumer service is trash, i really needed to use my card to put gas in my car, I called the customer service hotline and nobody answered me. It kept saying my card was expired but it wasn't. So I couldn't put gas in my car and I had to leave it behind. They literally do not have 24 hour customer service. If they say they do, they don't answer when I called. I literally called several numbers to at least talk to a live representative and no luck, not even the "credit card fraud" people couldn't help me out. I should have stuck with Wells Fargo because at least they had someone to help you out all the time if their was any issues. I'm closing this bank for good.

The manager, Amber, doesn’t have the patience or skills to properly train her employees. Rolls here eyes and says inappropriate comments. I’ve seen numerous employees cry on the job.You can get better rates and cuatrimestral service elsewhere.
