This place is absolutely disgusting, smells bad and didn't stay too long until I left, DO NOT GO HERE. Stains all over the blankets and smelled of mold all over the room.

I am not impressed on what the pool looked like, the pool had white bubbles on the top and you couldn’t see the bottom of the pool so next time i come to chicago i willnot be going to that hotel.Rooms: they were clean the shower floor looked dirty and so did the roofWalkability: there were alot of fast food places you could walk to.

I am not impressed with this hotel at all! As a Choice Rewards member, I always stay with Choice Hotels. This is the only location I've been to where I regretted my choice. The pool had this bubbly film on it and "hours" posted were 4pm-8pm so we weren't able to even want to try and swim. Breakfast bar was awful...no real selection and when they were out of anything, no staff to refill (and the staffer asked to get more juice seemed beyond annoyed for anyone even asking). We also had an issue with our keycards not working after our first night stay. We had left early to explore the city and came back to a locked room. We went to the front desk and were told that no one was supposed to be in our room. I had booked and pre-paid for 2 nights. I am greatful for us returning to the hotel before our room was emptied of our belongings since the Front Desk had already checked us out. We didn't feel very welcomed. Also, my daughter is the one who asked about our keycards and witnessed another guest checking in who was being yelled at by the front desk person after the guest couldn't get ahold of anyone buy "buzzing" and had to call the phone number.

Friendly staff rooms are clean enough.. Beds are comfortable... You can forget about breakfast. They allow people's children to come down and they pretty much wore out any breakfast... Luckily there is other food close... The breakfast dilemma actually just comes down to bad parenting or neglectful parenting or a lack of manners is probably more likely. How can you come down to a continental breakfast and have five plates full of food? Use all the milk. Eat all the cereal and think that that's okay, but we are in Illinois Chicago specifically. That should explain a lot

Room was clean, updated . Beds were soft. Due to the previous comments I was a little skeptical but I'm very happy with the room we got and everything else. Maybe they're working on improving things.Rooms: Very pleased

When there is a reservation on a hot, smart day, it would be nice that the people preparing the room would turn on the air conditioner. We got to our ro, and the air conditioning was completely off. The room was hot and uncomfortable.There were also greasy fingerprints all over the mirror and nightstands. I had to wipe down most of the room before I felt comfortable in it.

One of the dirtier hotels I've stayed at and i stay at a lot of hotels. AC did not work. Fridge was hot because it wasn't plugged in. No one had lifted the cushion in the chair to clean it. Behind tv stand was FILTHY toilet wasn't working but i fixed it... your welcome.

We checked in and the hotel looked outdated but ok. When we got to our room the key didn't work so we had to go fix that. The tub was dirty and there is no hot water or water pressure. The staff was friendly. The pool was cold, dirty, and cloudy. We could not see the bottom of the pool. The exterior of the hotel is trashed. The elevator sounds as if it will break at any moment.

I was there two months and according to Illinois state hotel tax law anything over 30 days makes you a permanent resident, and therefore you are entitled to a refund for all the taxes are paid both state and municipalities. I was there two months. To this day they have given me complete runaround about getting a refund for my taxes and then to top it off they charge me an additional 9% over what the tax would have been do. So they still owe me a refund of over $900 and refused to even acknowledge it. Town of Monee has that is doing an audit on their books because they are fraudulent. Do not stay here and do not stay at the super eight they are owned by the same management, they are frauds!!! I have a question even called Choice hotel corporate and they just keep telling me just take it up with the hotel we don’t control that.

Just let me start off by saying, DO NOT STAY HERE. When my wife and I first checked in they put us in a double room when I booked a single king bed. I told them about the wrong room and the guy said that the king room was messed up. We get in the room and it was the nastiest place we have ever seen in our life. We didn't even want to sit our luggage down. So after an 8 hour drive we have to leave and find a Walmart to buy new bedding, new shower curtain and some sanitizing spray because they said they didn't have any clean stuff. There was semen stains all over the bed, mold on the curtains, boogers in the shower that shot out of their nose, grease all over the microwave stuff all over the walls and on and on and on. The pool was horrible, I wouldn't step foot in it. People were smoking pot in every room it smelled like. Cops were there about every night. Biggest dump I have ever seen in my life. I will never stay at one of these hotels again. You might ask why I didn't complain more, well the impression that I got was that everything was nasty. The pool, the hallways, the carpet and the walls, so why would I go get more nasty stuff. We just bought the cheap stuff at Walmart and put all new bedding. Worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. I went to senior week when I graduated and stayed in some pretty bad hotels and this is by far the worst. Just stay away. The place needs condemned, someone should definitely contact the health department. If it were possible to get my money back I would try because I had to furnish the room with clean bedding and everything else. The pictures will tell the story. I went to Hilton Garden Inn for the next 2 days in the South Loop, Chicago and it was awesome.

I really like this hotel and location. The location is very convenient near restaurants, gas stations, and other convenients. I have stayed numerous of times. The staff Andy, Angela, and Herman were very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I would definitely stay here again and again.Rooms: The room are if a good size.Safety: Police parole the area constantly and the staff monitor the ins and outs of everyone.Walkability: There are so many options for food and drinks in walking distance.Food & drinks: There is a good variety of food and drinks locations.

This place was awful. DO NOT STAY HERE. when I arrived, I was applauded. It was dirty, the pool was filthy, and there were all kinds of rif Raf in the hotel. There were women of the night there if u know what I mean. There were shady looking men hanging around the side of the hotel. I felt unsafe, and it was so so filthy there I was sure I would catch something. Needless to say, I canceled my reservation. They did not want to refund my money. I called the corporate, and they said I should stay there, just lock my door. I will never do business with another choice hotel again. I will tell everyone I know about this awful place. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

Wanted to swim but there was a bubbly film on top of the water and it didn't look clean. No one was taking care of the breakfast bar and it quickly ran out of food like waffle mix and breakfast sandwiches. The bottom of the juice dispenser was filled with juice and the orange juice tasted off. The only thing positive was the nice room and the comfortable bed.

Ive been waiting on a chance to review my stay being a Choice Reward Member but never received an email to. I wasn’t expecting alot out of this hotel because of the price but was surprised with what I got being a rewards member. I requested a room on the top floor & was accompanied. I get to my room and turn on the sink faucet to wash my face and brush my teeth because it had been a long day for me. I continued for 5 to 6 minutes checking the water and it was cold steel. 10 minutes have went by and the water was still cold. I called downstairs to the front Dess to inform him but the phone had something wrong with it so I phoned from my cell phone to inform him about the water. He tells me that there is no hot water on the second floor and he can put me in another room on the first floor. I go to the room and I was so tired that I just slept in my clothes. Something told me to check the window and the lock was slid all the way to the back of the window seal where the window could be open. So I watched TV on my phone all night because the Wi-Fi wasn’t working. The hotel needs a makeover. I wouldn’t stay there again.Nearby activities: None known.Noteworthy details: Old & outdated! Very weird! I had booked the room a week before my trip. I was in Illinois for an event and a few states from home. Three HOURS before my check in time, I get a voicemail saying only “make other arrangements with another hotel”. So, I call the hotel back, and I get a man that sounds similar to the one that left a voicemail, and he just answers “hello..?” in a very annoyed voice. I wasn’t sure if I actually called the right place, so I told him my name and everything, and he goes “We tried to charge your card on file, and there were insufficient funds so you’ll have to make arrangements with another hotel.” Before I could say anything, or explain that we decided we were going to use a different card, he hung up. I would have given him the new card had he been polite and not hung up. I’m very confused as to WHY he ran my card before I even checked in. The reservation had been set for a week already? I understand if that’s some new policy or something, but don’t be so rude about it. I was shocked! Thankfully we stayed at a different hotel, and they were very kind.
